Wonderful host, who are always on secure premises - she makes meals for guests and has several snacks and drinks, as it’s unsafe to walk around and there are no eateries close by. Property had security gates, due to the neighborhood. Taxi driver reiterated the entire area near the Cruise Port is basically unsafe. Taxi fare was equivalent to US$8 and he accepted USD, need to ask upfront if USD is acceptable. (Host has a Taxi friend charging US$5)
My husband and the other couple who were booked here, all walked with the Host to a market 30 min downhill downtown. No way could they have made the steep walk back, especially with heavy groceries, so they took a Taxi back. Good value when catching a cruise, as no hotels nearby. Friendly host family!

This hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance of the cruise terminal. Wonderful views from our room, which was very well equipped with what one would expect from a hotel. Appreciated that the reception people spoke english. Lovely breakfast and good wifi signal. We felt very safe as we explored our surroundings.
One thing that was annoying was the fact that you had to purchase tickets to enter the casino to get to the restaurant within. There were no clear instructions on the machine, so had to ask the reception desk a couple of times. We would also suggest that perhaps a sign with english instructions on said machine might be helpful.
Overall a very pleasant stay.

It was a nice, quiet neighborhood that we were in. Food was good at the restaurant at the hotel and nearby restaurants as well. Prices for food were very reasonable. We did not have a car so we just walked around the area we were in. Our patio with a view of the ocean and the port were great! The breakfast room was nearby, as was the restaurant.

My husband and I have enjoyed very much our stay at this hotel, in San Antonio, Chile! I booked for 2 nights, before the day of our embarkment with Holland America going South America. The hotel location is the best!
surprisingly good hot breakfast is included with your stay. We checked out at noon, waited in the lobby for an hour before pulling our luggage to the cruise terminal. From the front door, turn left following the boardwalk toward the end, about 100 meters or 125 yards. The gate of the cruise terminal is on your right. I took these pics from our room.

This was a very pleasant hotel with a wonderful view of the harbor. We were stranded here when Coronavirus broke out and the hotel took measures to limit the outbreak. There is a good supermarket in the bottom of the mall and food in the mall. The best thing is the view of the harbor and watching the Celebrity Eclipse go round and round after it was refused permission to dock. The hotel arranged a taxi to Santiago so we could leave Chile before it locked down.

Very well situated for the port, its on the doorstep, the hotel adjoins a small shopping complex which is nice to look round/places to eat. Approaching the hotel from the town gives you the wrong impression it looks more like a factory and you ask yourself “is this our hotel “. There is a working fish market near hotel and a small pier, but what a surprise around the pier, sea lions we counted 25 and then on the evening they all came upon to the small beach next to fish market which is just in front of hotel for a good nights sleep has there still there in the mornings,(you can get has close as you dare),no need for any expensive trips to see them, ps we were there early March, sea near hotel full of jellyfish , NO SWIMMING,

Fantastic view from the hotel.
Fantastic view from the hotel. Huge floor to ceiling wall-to-wall glass windows in the room and restaurant makes this place. Kind of dirty, crowded, and fish smelling outside but the view saves the hotel.
