It's a good hotel, not luxurious, but it's comfortable. The staff is very nice, the breakfast is good, and the room we stayed in was comfortable and has nice big windows. A great place to stay for a very good price!

I stayed in your auxiliary building and I did not participate in the breakfast, although I could have. The main point is that the rooms with their own bath and kitchen facilities, which were the only ones that I have used in several stays, are very large and comfortable compared to other hostel/hotels, and the beds are excellent. Terrific value for the money. Of course the location, 3 blocks from the National Stadium and Sabana Park, is excellent, especially for a person who likes both safety and the ability to walk/run in the mornings with other like-minded people. There are also several cute new restaurants and cafes without a few blocks that have various international or cultural themes. Your place is a treasure, keep it up!

The garden had a lot of colorful plants. Shirani and the staff was very kind and always ready to help out with everything. I felt at home, the place has nice decoration.

The hostel, in a former office building, was still being remodeled and prepared. But it was starting to look really nice already and the mattress was super comfortable. I slept like a rose.

Very impressed by the design and layout of this property. Everything was very clean, breezy and well organized. There is no AC but there are oscillating fans in rooms and that was more than sufficient. The room I stayed in was a double bed, cozy space with a drawer for all your stuff, a coffee machine and a safe lock on the doors so it felt safe and worry free. WIFI was working great and was fast. Common kitchen area, the lobby and common sitting area were nicely set up, equipped and decorated. Location is in the center. Near to all the popular streets and boulevards with many restaurants, street food vendors, open markets, super markets, bars, clubs etc. It can get a bit noisy at night but San Jose is a lively city and this should be expected when booking accommodation downtown. They had a bad review from someone complaining about the noise but I have to disagree because if you're tired you'll sleep through anything and if you want complete silence then book something in suburban area.

Great patio, large with several sitting areas. Meals available at the bar. Very quiet neighborhood but easy walking distance through parklands to top museums. Beautiful artworks, fountains and pre Columbian statuary decorate the extensive common areas. Staff is extremely kind. Neighboring buildings are classics! If you don't stay here, stop by for a drink/meal and view the art. Classic San Jose!
