It's my 4th of 5th time in this hotel and still one of the best to stay. Friendly and helpfull staff. Clean and big rooms, very good quality of sleeping. Free parking around the hotel. Nice buffet for the breakfast. Very close to the "Altstad".

The family-run, 4-star Hotel Birkenhof occupies a country-style, English cottage and offers a park-like garden. All of the comfortable rooms at the Hotel Birkenhof have a queen-size bed. Lovely staff.A good selection of breakfast. Very lovely park gor a walk in the back of the hotel,with a little play area for childen.This was very much needed after a long day of driving.

This is an annex above a steak house - you need to go around the corner to the main hotel, which has a seated statue of one of the Grimm Brothers outside, to collect your key, Very near the bus station, market and town centre. Hanau has a direct S-Bahn line to the airport and is a major rail hub so good public transport.
