We asked for a shower chair, and they upgraded us to a handicap room at no charge. Really friendly staff. Breakfast has a lot of variety.

Sadly the location near the train station has become a bit of a magnet for those with challenging behaviours(drink a drugs). That said and done I wasn’t personally affected and it’s not the fault of the hotel.

We were there for the Starcraft HomeStory Cup 28 event at Take's TV Bar the end of January 2026. The people at Take's are wonderful and it was a well organized tournament. It was nice to walk around the neighbourhood where we stayed and we were only an 8 min walk to the event. A side note is the we were surprised of the price of energy drinks. Only 1 Euro compared to $4 or $5 Canadian back home.

Seeing the old places which I love and the house where my aunt and later, also my grandmother lived. Like to visit the hyper markets and the many parks and most of course,Burg Linn, the castle. Nice to walk beside the Rhein and to visit the Zoo.
