The whole hotel was immaculate and beautifully decorated. There's a sunlit breakfast room (windows on 3 sides) for the excellent breakfast. The outdoor terrace overlooking the Mosel River was lovely; and offers delicious cakes and pizza for purchase in the afternoon. This is a family-owned hotel that is carefully maintained and operated with love and pride. Great Location: we enjoyed walking the narrow back streets of Ediger-Eller, admiring traditional buildings with grape vine arbors and charming, uniquely decorated doorways. We also had a beautiful day hike in the forest and vineyards above the town. There is a bus stop near the hotel for transportation to other villages.

Neef is a quiet town that thrives on tourism and the wine...

Neef is a quiet town that thrives on tourism and the wine they make. It's a small town, and most of the other travelers we met were either hiking or trying wine at the few places open in October. However, we found it the perfect place to spend a quiet afternoon/evening wandering around. They have wine vending machines if you want a contactless experience, which we found amusing!
