Czech RepublicWe enjoyed our stay in this super large and beautiful apartment. We loved the two balconies, where we enjoyed the view of the mountains. Kitchen is fully equipped, a nice dining area and comfortable living room. Two bedrooms and one large shower. The apartment was perfect for us a family of four plus our dog. Private parking in front of the building.
The communication with the owner was brief but very attentive and friendly.
We liked the area, central, close to other beautiful villages and nature. We will love to be back!

It is a beautiful village full of traditional Bavarian buildings, excellent bakeries and very good restaurants. It is small enough to retain a charming, rustic atmosphere, while still having everything you might need for a longer stay, including Lidl, Müller, petrol stations and other shops and services.

City itself, nice Bavarian town with nicly painted houses (tradional way), good restaurants/biergartens. Near the Kings Castles Hohenschwangau, Neuschwanstein & Linderhof. Very Nice, plus Venus Grotto, Ettel Abey, cable cars, Plansee, Alpsee and more. All within a few minutes drive. under one hour. Even Garmisch Patenkirchen not far.

Great town to visit with many cute shops and restaurants. I would include Ettal in the review as it is only a couple of miles up the street with a Monestary not to be missed. The views around the town are wonderful and you can spend hours just looking at the house paintings.

Oberammergau is a stunning location in the German alps.
Oberammergau is a stunning location in the German alps. Whichever way you turn your head, there is something very picturesque to see. Many restaurants to choose from, an amazing ice cream restaurant that serves food and alcohol too.
It is within driving distance of several beautiful lakes.
We have been to this location twice now and would go back in a heartbeat.

This is a beautiful and quiet village surrounded by mountains but the village itself is flat mostly for easy walking with plenty of shops and banks. Cards are accepted everywhere, so not an issue. The Konigscard is a huge benefit with free travel on trains, buses and cable cars within about 30 km of the village. Highly recommended, it is about 3 hours from Munich airport so factor that in. Oh and lots of great restaurants with variety of styles.

The hotel is in a very good location- close to train station and groceries stores as well as bike rent and centrum of the town. We had a great balcony view to the mountain. I liked that there’s always available coffee mashine and you can make coffee any time of the day. Great place with great staff.
