Charming and relaxing beach destination within easy reach of Hamburg. The weather happened to be nice during my stay, but it looks like it would still be an enjoyable destination if the weather wasn’t so sunny or warm. Local people were friendly and welcoming, and I learned interesting things about the region. There are a variety of places to eat, catering to higher end fine dining as well as more humble restaurants. I had a beautiful meal on the deck at Restaurant Rendezvous, as well as a delicious casual meal from the little takeaway huts along the marina. Cafe Ahoi coffee is a decent coffee option, and the bakery Bäckerei Seßelberg Niendorfwas also very good. Gift shop Snabbelsnuut was great with unique and affordable good quality items locally sourced with friendly helpful service, and Lambert Studio has a great selection of lovely homewares, with friendly and knowledgeable customer service.

We went to see Alle Farben on the beach and found a great restaurant practically next door where we could still hear the music. Vogelpark Niendorf is the best bird park we have ever been to, and my husband is a bird enthusiast!

I am in love with this hotel, such an a positive experience staying in your hotel! Its located a bit away from the main road which makes the stay very cosy, on the other hand it is not more than 5 min by foot to the central street and city center. Zimmer is so lovely and new set up, betts are amazing. No nose in the room from the central air conditioner / air ventilation, just perfectly quiet. We liked the bathroom greatly, so romantic and good planned as the room had a separate shower area in addition to the bath.

Chose this hotel based on location and the beautiful design of the rooms and facilities in the pictures. We were not let down! Beautifully decorated rooms and interiors. Great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed and very clean rooms. Nice idea to have a vending room. Breakfast was very nice. This hotel was recently opened (spring 2023) so it is in absolutely tip top condition. The very small team made the stay very personal and enjoyable.

We booked fairly last minute for a weekend overnight and were super pleasantly surprised. The room is very spacious and comfortable with a view to the park. The bathroom is with warm floor and very clean. Overall facilities are oldish, but this adds to the charm ;) The breakfast had everything necessary, even a prosecco. Also the owners were super nice. Everything is good 👌 We drove to make a road trip from Switzerland until Estonia and Ferry to Finland. Then Finland to Germany, our ferry arrived at night almost 10pm so we have found this place which is self check-in and 10 minutes away from the port. We had a very nice stay here.
