Wonderful little village with beautiful sites to see. great walking street with many shops. the sandworm experience was once fun and then to have a lifetime experience to stand in the sand and let the water from two different oceans wash over your feet. Raberg Mile was amazing to see even if it was a in the middle of a huge rainfall. The Sand buried church was really cool to see and just a short 400km walk from the parking lot. It’s a nice town to stop and visit but unless you’re staying...
It’s a nice town to stop and visit but unless you’re staying longer to go to the beach, one day/one and a half should be enough to rent a bike and visit Grenen (the northern part of Denmark), the history museum (with the bunkers from WWII), the art museum and the ruins of a church. We had a family room and so were in the annex building, which is a few minutes walk from the main building. It was nice in that there were two bedrooms, one for the child and one for the adults. The breakfast was exceptional, and you are eating in the historical dining room, where all of the famous, historical Skagenians would once gather.
