Hotel Ciutat D'Alcoi is located in central Alcoy, near the town's shopping area. It offers avant-garde design, a fitness center with hot tub, and rooms with mini-bar and satellite TV. Everything! The hotel was amazing, as was the staff. There reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was exceptional. Very large, and the beds were comfortable. We asked for extra pillows and they arrived within 5 minutes. The housekeeping staff were friendly and very thorough in the cleaning of the room. The location is idea, and a few minutes from many places of interest. We will be back to this hotel, and very soon. Thank you to all the staff, in every department for making our short stay very memorable.

Hostal Savoy is just 328 feet from Plaza España Square, in central Alcoi. It offers functional, air-conditioned rooms and a traditional regional restaurant with a large terrace overlooking the town. I've stayed here before and was happy with previous stays. Apparently, they have done some renovation since I was last here, so that the rooms are nicer than ever. Quiet at night, beautiful view from my room, good wifi, comfortable bed, central location, moderate price.

This small adults-only country house is located in Font Roja Natural Park and features an outdoor pool with a sun terrace. The breakfast and home made dinner are made with fresh local produce. My boyfriend and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. We weren’t so sure what to expect going into it, but the price was good and breakfast was included so we did it! We were completely blown away and had the best time. The property was easy to find and it overlooks the Valley of Alcoy. Absolutely beautiful. The owners were so friendly and we (I) loved their labor doodle Jackie. The house had a lot of character, was super clean, and we couldn’t stop talking about how comfortable the bed was. The breakfast they prepare for you is unique and special. We also paid to have dinner prepared for us one night and we a fell in love! Come here to watch the sunset, star gaze, hike, swim, or fall more in love with your partner. Thank you to the owners, we couldn’t have asked for more!

Masía La Safranera is set in extensive gardens in the Font Roja Nature Reserve, 6.2 mi from Alcoy. It offers a seasonal outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi and free parking. Setting is all you could wish for. In the country and quite isolated. Staff friendly but place has a feeling of despair

Located in Alcoy, Casa Severina provides self-catering accommodations with a balcony and free WiFi. The air-conditioned property is 20 miles from Xàtiva. I really enjoyed everything, from small details like: welcome snacks, water, toiletries, coffee capsules, sugar and ect. Everything is thought out to the last detail, and the fireplace provides extraordinary coziness in the evening. Everything in the summary is perfect! So, we can say that the exterior of the building is deceptive!

Olddowntown alcoy is located in Alcoy. The air-conditioned property is 28 miles from Calpe.
Great for me as I like walking. Very hilly. Hard work. It rained the second day, but we avoided this by going to a museum of the festivals (there are several museums there for bad weather) and it was dry when we went walking. It is, like most towns, expensive if you do not live there and spend most of your time in the centre, although we found a veggie place that did good food at good prices in the main area, but the museum was very cheap and great value for money. I think it is better for a short couple of days like ours, but might get boring after a week or so unless you know what is going on there. Some lovely churches (only saw exteriors - many churches around Spain charge for entry). A lot of traffic in the town as the hills mean most people drive.
Old part of the city is interesting, with some fine buildings . There are a number of museums worth visiting. As the old town of Alcoi is built in a valley , be prepared for steep streets. Although there were lots of friendly bars , all serving tapas , restaurants were difficult to find open. Two nights & three days was sufficient.
Not an easy place without any Spanish as few locals have other tounges and most cafes, bars and restaurants do not have menus at all let alone in english but never the less we enjoyed the city and it is an interesting place to amble about of an evening people watching
An interesting higldy-pigldy town built at the confluence of several deep valleys which contain the remains of old mill factories. Surrounded by hills and crisscrossed by numerous bridges the town is unique. Everywhere you will see evidence of the Moors and Christians fiestas - which is very important to the very friendly (but a bit noisy) inhabitants. Do not expect a lot of English spoken - but at least they are happy to chat in Castellano (not Valenceano!). Lovely countryside all around. If you visit at fiesta time you will need to book up many months in advance and don't forget to pack your ear plugs!
Alcoy, situated around 54 km from Alicante, and 105 km from Valencia, is famous for its amazing Moors and Christians Festival. This is a superb time to visit the city. For those who appreciate architecture, there’s plenty to see. The hub of the city is the Plaza de España (Spain Square) and heading off from it you can either go into the medieval quarter or in the opposite direction the modernist part of Alcoy. The Viaduct of Canalejas is one of the great symbols of the town, which was rather innovative at the time of its construction in the early 20th century.
The Moors and Christian festival was absolutely amazing! Easy to get around town on the bus system. Lots of interesting history in and around Alcoy. Tapas are a must and served at many bars and restaurants. Beautiful city of bridges. Clean city. No potholes to be found! Will visit again!
We wanted a Spanish hotel in the countryside and that's exactly what we got. English was spoken minimally but we really should have brushed up on our Spanish!! We didn't eat there in the evening but did have breakfast and despite the language barrier ended up being well fed and watered. We would stay there again, but it is a tad remote (or felt like it, probably wasn't but we didn't really know where we were or what was close!!). The room was clean, as were the linens, and the bed super comfy. Excellent value for money.
The view of San Jordi's bridge was beautiful, and the hotel was built so all rooms have a view of the bridge. Also, it is a short walk to the town center.
Very nice hotel in the nature, great and comfortable mattresses. Nice place to stay, and would recommend it.
Beautiful refurbished art deco apartment, very comfortable and convenient for Alcoy Old Town
