Featuring city views, Casa Severina provides accommodations with a terrace and a balcony, around 31 miles from Alicante Golf Club. This apartment has a concierge service and free WiFi. I really enjoyed everything, from small details like: welcome snacks, water, toiletries, coffee capsules, sugar and ect. Everything is thought out to the last detail, and the fireplace provides extraordinary coziness in the evening. Everything in the summary is perfect! So, we can say that the exterior of the building is deceptive!

RESIDENCIAL ALCOY Ático 43 Espectacular Ático en Alcoy is located in Alcoy.
Moderately interesting historic sector. We were amazed at the number of restaurants closed and the lack of eating places generally. It was out of season but even those premises that were open were not serving meals, only sandwiches/baguettes. Had to eat in hotel one night - only had menu del dia with no alternatives. Managed to find a cafe that did great tapas second night and made do with that. Town is quirky in the topography which takes a bit of getting used to. Good for photos of bridges and surrounding mountains. Font Roja Natural Parc was lovely but even there the restaurant was closed and no cafe.
Interesting city, with some great museums and buildings. Visited the museum of moor & christians festival, which is well worth a visit Also the museum of firefighters which outlines the history of the building and industry in the area and the development of the bomberos in Alcoi. The layout of the city and its bridges offer some great photo opportunities. Plenty of cafes to stop at and refuel
Great for me as I like walking. Very hilly. Hard work. It rained the second day, but we avoided this by going to a museum of the festivals (there are several museums there for bad weather) and it was dry when we went walking. It is, like most towns, expensive if you do not live there and spend most of your time in the centre, although we found a veggie place that did good food at good prices in the main area, but the museum was very cheap and great value for money. I think it is better for a short couple of days like ours, but might get boring after a week or so unless you know what is going on there. Some lovely churches (only saw exteriors - many churches around Spain charge for entry). A lot of traffic in the town as the hills mean most people drive.
Old part of the city is interesting, with some fine buildings . There are a number of museums worth visiting. As the old town of Alcoi is built in a valley , be prepared for steep streets. Although there were lots of friendly bars , all serving tapas , restaurants were difficult to find open. Two nights & three days was sufficient.
Not an easy place without any Spanish as few locals have other tounges and most cafes, bars and restaurants do not have menus at all let alone in english but never the less we enjoyed the city and it is an interesting place to amble about of an evening people watching
An interesting higldy-pigldy town built at the confluence of several deep valleys which contain the remains of old mill factories. Surrounded by hills and crisscrossed by numerous bridges the town is unique. Everywhere you will see evidence of the Moors and Christians fiestas - which is very important to the very friendly (but a bit noisy) inhabitants. Do not expect a lot of English spoken - but at least they are happy to chat in Castellano (not Valenceano!). Lovely countryside all around. If you visit at fiesta time you will need to book up many months in advance and don't forget to pack your ear plugs!
My first visit to Alcoy, arriving by train: quite a walk (20 mins) from station, but on arrival, discovered that hotel is ideally located for everything else. During a week's travelling, on a tight budget, this was by far the most luxurious accommodation: I couldn't fault it. Excellent value for money. Both Receptionists (evening and morning) couldn't have been more helpful. Good breakfast.
