I have to admit, I was a bit scared by the position and the vintage looking rooms; instead, our stay at Hotel Ibaigune was actually amazing! Rooms were spacious and our beds were really comfortable. We got some nice advice from the guy at the reception on where to have dinner and also had an amazing continental breakfast in the morning, with both savory and sweet treats and lots of fruit and beverages! We really enjoyed our stay, and also had the time of our life having a little get together on their outside tables and chairs (we were a big group, hope we didn't bother anybody)... thank you very much for your ospitality!

The location was secluded enough to be out of town but close enough to the Camino. The restaurant Nextdoor was fantastic. The room was the right size for what I needed. The air condo was a treat after a few nights in hostels.

The property is exceptional in all ways... every detail is perfectly planned. The room and facilities are of the highest quality.

Absolutely love this place. There is a large room with a wall of glass windows overlooking the water where the birds gather. Lots of trails and beaches nearby. The bus stop is 5 minute walk away.

Location and friendly and helpful staff.

The room was spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was good, and the staff were exceptionally helpful with directions around the city and beyond, as well as arranging a taxi.

The hotel made us feel privileged it was perfect in every way

Really nice staff. We were allowed to check in really early! Thank you!

Fantastic place! Whay a unique experience to stay in a castle! We dont speak much spanish- I speak some.... and they taught me a bunch and were very patient. It was a beautiful place. Wonderful people, wonderful unique place, wonderful location.

The breakfast was very good and quickly provided

The service! First of all the welcome was pleasant and informative. We had some issues with the room which made the stay disappointing - but when we contacted the reception they were really helpful and made the experience much more pleasant. Many thanks to the reception representative

Really clean. Quiet at night. After a big day on the camino, definetely a good place to relax. Excellent breakfast for 12 euros.

The view from the room was so amazing we didn’t leave for dinner!!!

Great place and great people for a pilgrim that needs to rest! He also got some pools as gift! Thank youuuu I booked for my hubby and he loved!

Very pintoresc location, great hotel excellent beds, outstanding host!

The property was remote, but that’s part of the charm. A small boutique hotel, beautifully appointed, with an elevator, jacuzzi and sauna. Breakfast was lovely and staff were very helpful. A unique experience in rural Basque Country.
