The staff always the biggest difference & even makes up for facility deficiencies they have no control over. Besides the seamless check-in, staff gave me manzanilla tea, a room heater, looked out for me as I was unwell from a viral gastritis. Location was perfect: close to a grocery, fruit stand, pharmacy, restaurant. It was quiet, bed was comfortable - I slept well. It had a coffee shop for a light breakfast.

The location was excellent; it is right on the camino the Santiago. There are plenty of businesses nearby (shops, supermarket, etc.). The apartment is very spacious and clean. There is a washing machine and some clothes lines for drying. The host is AMAZING! She responded right away to any questions we had. We forgot an item of sentimental value in the apartment. The host recovered it, and agreed to meet us on a Saturday morning on our return trip from Santiago.
