It was very near a nice beach to walk to. The room is big and clean and has a big balcony. Their staff are super friendly and helpful. We availed of the breakfast and dinner buffet and it was worth it. They have a nice variety of food as well.

The Hotel is beautiful. Smart, clean, quiet. We had a lovely 7 night stay. The pools are lovely - if a bit cold! We stayed on a B&B basis, which suited us as we went out into the town of an evening to eat out. Breakfast was plentiful and of a good quality. There's a snack bar by the pool for lunch - nothing special but the food was tasty and kept us going until dinner. There are enough sunbeds for the residents - certainly in mid-September - and we even spent a day on the beach for a change of scenery.
Our room was spacious and well appointed. The shower was hot and powerful and the housekeeping was efficient. Our balcony overlooked the pool area and we had a good sea view.
There were entertainments during the day and evening - we played minigolf and water polo. Entertainers in the evening supplied music and dancing. We also had a massage in the spa, and a spell in the jacuzzi. Very relaxing!
The town of Costa Calma is spread out for quite a way, so we didn't go further than about half an hour walk. There are half a dozen great restaurants there; we'd recommend B-side for a lovely relaxing dinner with a cool vibe, and El Pellizco (just opposite) for a proper high end night out. The 555 Tapas restaurant above the Spar is also superb.
The staff are helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Everyone spoke excellent English and didn't laugh at my pidgeon Spanish. The beer is very good and the cocktails on the roof terrace at the end of the night rounded off a perfect day here.
Overall, we were blown away by how nice this hotel is. It's so lovely to have peace and quiet without screaming kids! The architecture is very tasteful and it's so clean. There are even a couple of cats who wander around making friends. We saw the 'Privilege' area, but to be honest, I'm not sure it would be worth it to upgrade as it didn't seem you got much more for the upgrade.
Located just off the Costa Calma, in the south of the island of Fuerteventura, the Royal Suite aparthotel complex is set 2953 feet from the beach.

Very cute arrangement of the apartments. Comfortable beds. The food options were great with lots of variety. One of the best hotel buffets, in my opinion, with vegetarian options too. All-inclusive option also includes soft drinks and beer at the pool bar. Big pool that no one uses. Most of the staff were super friendly.
The all-inclusive Club Hotel Drago Park features a heated outdoor pool, squash court and gym. Located in Fuerteventura’s Costa Calma, it offers a free shuttle service to Sotavento Beach.

A quiet part of Fuerteventura, but plenty of restaurants and bars to suit those who want to spend the evening away from the hotel.
We ate at B-side (twice!) - lovely food and decent cocktails and wine. Friendly service and good views. We treated ourselves to a night at El Pellizco, which will be Michelin starred one day, I'm sure of it. And 555 Tapas was really good too.

Costa Calma is a quite resort with no real centre, most of the hotels are all inclusive so not really an issue. It’s pretty hilly and some of the footpaths are in disrepair. There is a long palm tree park through the centre of the resort but unfortunately there is an awful lot of litter and and bottles and beer cans around and the locality in general is a bit shabby, especially in comparison to Moro Jable, Caleta or Corralejo. There are a number of derelict hotels and bars around the area and locals said a lot of them shut up for good during Covid. There is generally only a hand full of bars and restaurants outside of the hotels and a few small indoor shopping centres selling the usual touristy stuff. Nothing like the strips of bars, restaurants, clothing and perfume shops you will find in Moro Jable or Corralejo.

The Costa Calma is an excellent location for a family trip, but a car is a necessity here. The roads are sometimes scary except for one main highway. The beaches are amazing, but the access is sometimes tricky. If you are looking for a party vibe, go to Ibiza. This is still a quiet place with amazing scenery and beautiful beaches.

Relatively quiet, beautiful city, not too many tourists.
Relatively quiet, beautiful city, not too many tourists. Good beach, you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas. There are several shopping centers, grocery stores. There are not many restaurants. Public transport stops running early in the evenings, it does not disturb sleep at night. The city parks are a little wild. From Costa Calma you can go to the nearest town Morro Jable by public transport, spending only 25 minutes on the way. You can go shopping, visit the many restaurants on the ocean shore, enjoy the panoramic view from the highest points of the city or just spend the day on the white sand beach. You can also cross the island from Costa Calma on foot (about 4 km each way) and see the wild, rocky coast with gigantic waves.

I really like the location of Costa Calma .
I really like the location of Costa Calma . It was only about an hour from from the airport, but being in the south it was very close to Morro Jable which was good for visiting and activities. The hotel had a private beach, and was the end hotel and next to desert we like this because we are very keen on wildlife and it was very quiet and peaceful. There was some live music at the hotel however, if somebody wants a more lively place or lots of shops to visit, this is not for you. There was a short walk to a few local shops and supermarket, but not a destination for perusing and choosing souvenirs et cetera I would say. There was another beach very short drive from the hotel which was very big and full of wind surfers and kite surfers
This was the adults only hotel, so no noise of children which we appreciated. The hotel appears to have mostly guests from Germany, and some of the staff did not speak very much English. We went half board so sometimes bought ourselves drink drinks and snacks at the bar which were very reasonably priced.
The perfect location for a small family getaway. Most of the clientele at the hotel are older couples. If you're looking for partying and nightlife, this isn't the place to go. If you want a relaxing vacation with great food and amazing views, look no further than Risco del Gato and Costa Calma! Restaurant Terraza del Gato adjacent to the hotel is 10/10.
Great location. Good size terrace with very nice view over Costa Calma beach. Apartment nicely decorated and furnished. Quiet. Very good check-in instructions prior to arrival. Responsive host.
Very comfortable apartment with everything you need, for a fantastic price. I had a very nice stay here and would definitely return next time I am in Fuerteventura :D
Best place to stay in Costa Calma. Next to the beach and also close to the commercial center. Amazing view to the ocean. Nice staff and high professional trainned.
