The views from the rooms two balconies are absolutely stunning. The place was recently refurbished and was perfect for a couple, and would also be perfect for a family. The host was very helpful with getting us checked in. Would absolutely stay again. I could not recommend it more.

The location is peaceful, and the apartment on the bottom floor has ample room for a family of four. It was clean and provided the essentials—towels, sheets, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Lluis was very responsive and communicated often and well when we needed him.

Thoughtfully updated with every convenience, it offers three spacious bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and everything needed for a relaxing and memorable stay. VIEWS FOREVER OFF THE BALCONY- apero ready. What makes this home truly special is its incredible heritage. Raul shared that the house has been in his family for approximately 500 years, giving our stay an authentic connection to the remarkable history of Orbaneja del Castillo. It was a privilege to experience such a unique property. We were two couples both, all over 65 years young!! Raul and Marta are exceptional hosts. Marta speaks perfect English, making communication effortless, and both she and Raul are warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about sharing their beautiful home and village with their guests. She even made reservations for us for lunch and dinner. Just ask, she & Raul know everyone. She was always available. The location is simply spectacular, nestled in one of the most picturesque villages in Spain, with breathtaking scenery just outside the front door. Home is in the middle of the village, and right over a waterfall. The sound is magical and mighty, but NOT overpowering. We visited in July, not too hot. Great hiking all around without moving your car. Marta shared, its easy to visit year round, snow fall is NOT heavy and the roads are usually easy to navigate. Don’t hold back from visiting this home, village and Burgos region any time of the year. If you're looking for an unforgettable stay that combines history, charm, comfort, and outstanding hospitality, El Salto del Agua is an absolute treasure. We would return in a heartbeat. Five stars simply aren't enough!

Gorgeous property tucked away and a great base if you're exploring the Burgos area. If you're looking for true peace and quiet in a stunning natural setting (tough to find these days!), this is where you must stay. The rooms are comfortable, thoughtfully designed, and the property has an undeniable rustic charm. The owners are a wealth full of knowledge for places to see and eat in the region, and served us a filling, homemade and locally sourced breakfast every morning before we drove to explore the surrounding area. I've already recommended it to several of our family and friends in Madrid!
