very cool hotel complex. I would like to mention the restaurants with always delicious and varied food, the tennis and padel courts (specially coach Ivan), the gym and all the hotel staff (very pleasant to talk to and always ready to help in resolving any issue). The area is very quiet and peaceful. the room has everything for a long stay. From the terrace of the room there is a very beautiful view of the ocean and the neighboring island. By taxi you can quickly and conveniently reach neighboring cities within 20-25 minutes. we spent a wonderful 10 days and will definitely come back here.

Amazing location, spacious suites (we booked one 3 bedroom and one 1 bedroom suites). Both were gorgeous. The 3 bedroom had a big terrace with jacuzzi and wonderful sunset views.

Location great near buses and supermarkets. Alcalá is unique in being a local town in between tourist resorts so it's a lot more authentic. Beds very comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Terrace massive and well furnished, easy key pickup from next.door pharmacy. Hosts attended promptly to issue raised. Sofa comfortable. You can see Alcalá beach and La Gomera clearly from the property.

    San Juan was a great wee town, with not too many tourists. It's a quiet and peaceful area. Don't change it, the restaurants were great too. The main motorway takes you right up there, fantastic. Whale watching out of San Juan was good too.

    We prefer the Northern part of the island and even the south...

    We prefer the Northern part of the island and even the south at Los Cristianos looks better. The hotel is surrounded by covered banana plantations that look like strange monoliths against a pitch black piece of land and the area altogether is not very pretty as it has some sort of industrial look. There is a nice promenade in the close by San Juan with a much sought after restaurant called Agua Y Sale. You need a reservation otherwise it's almost impossible to get in. Food is good but being so pressured to accommodate lots and lots and lots of people they lack attention to details and some dishes are overcooked (shrimps, St Jacques). Beware at the size of portions: they are simply humongous. A dish of pasta or rice for 2 can easily feed 8 or 6 if that's all you order. Everybody leaves with a doggy bag but if you live at a hotel, this is useless.

    This a great location to enjoy a few relaxed days away from...

    This a great location to enjoy a few relaxed days away from the madness that Tenerife can offer. San Juan and the surrounding area is beautiful and developing great sea-side walks - think it is very suitable for couples and older visitors - does not have much on offer for families although we saw lots. The town is easily accessible from an excellent road infrastructure and a good launching pad to access other activities on the island. Wonderful friendly pubs and restaurants (many close early (10pm) when we visited in January and opening days rotate (at least two days closure is a requirements by the local administration. Town is kept very clean with nice walks beside the ocean.

    It is a wonderful place hidden in a big and very beautiful garden. Here we could really just lay back and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere, coziness and privacy. This was exactly the right place for us as we don't like large touristic complexes. The apartment has everything one needs, kitchen is very well equipped and we especially enjoyed the various seating options around the house. The host was very generous and always tried to fit our needs. We would definitely come again during our next trip to Tenerife.

    Such a unique place to stay in Tenerife! Our stay was so comfortable and felt like we were glamping! The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the swimming pool is amazing if it's warm :) Sky the cat is the most friendly cat we've ever met and you can't miss her! The host is also super lovely and gave us great recommendations around the area :) thanks for a great stay!

    Everything. Loved that we stayed in an apartment that had a hotel feel about it ie. breakfast and pools with service. Rooms were luxurious, pools were well staffed and large. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and staff who were friendly and attentive. Loved that anything extra you needed from housekeeping could be ordered using an app.

    This was our second stay at the R-C as we love the styling and position of the hotel, the room (level 6) was super with great views from the balcony. Apart from poor communications at check in which meant that we did not get into our room until 5.30, the staff are very attentive and friendly.
