Beautiful old mansion in rural area with several small villages surrounded by. Perfect place for day trip to explore Catalunya nature and culture.

From the moment our car entered the street where Hotel Monells Summum is located, we started our magical six day vacation for exploring the Costa Brava. The photos on its website do not do justice to the overall exceptional beauty of every aspect of this lodging. We were greeted by Myrta and her staff who took our luggage to our room. At each turn, whenever they could be helpful, they exceeded our expectations. We looked forward to breakfast each day, enjoying the views of the swimming pool and overall tranquil environment. We are already thinking about a return visit. If you enjoy staying in an exquisite boutique hotel, that feels like a home, then this is the find you will remember very fondly.

This hotel is a hidden gem!! Spent 5 wonderful days there. Monells is a quiet special place. The hotel blends it's historic architecture with beautiful design, art, comfortable social areas and privacy. Plenty of parking space. The staff was beyond accommodating and helpful. The breakfast had a great variety of local and fresh food and the restaurant area is nice, with plenty of natural light and space for everyone. You can spend lazy days lounging around the hotel, the garden and pool or ask for recommendations to go around nearby towns! 100% recommend this beautiful place I hope to return soon. :)
