Playa del Cura
Offering an outdoor pool, Su Eminencia - Luxury Apartment is set in Playa del Cura, 9.9 mi from Playa del Ingles. Maspalomas is 8.7 mi away. The place is sparklig clean. Hosts do a lot for to make your holidays perfect. Very friendly people. The view is awesome. So little wind in the balcony, though it is so high, so you can enjoy your breakfast and dinner there. I would say - warmest place in Gran Canaria. Before we spent one week in Maspalomas which was much colder. Not many people by the pool gives a feeling that it is your private. 29 degrees in the pool. Parking - on the roof of the building - so safe...and the view :) ...have to mention the knives in the kitchen...they are sharp...not like what you usualy find in other places. We would be happy to go back! :) Thank you!
Playa del Cura
Offering a year-round outdoor pool and hot tub, Idyll Suites - Adults Only is located in Playa del Cura in the Gran Canaria Region. Playa del Ingles is 9.9 mi from the property. Every unit has an amazing view. You’ll need a car to go to Amadores and Anfi Del Mar beaches (the nicest beaches that we saw on the whole island) but they’re not far (5 mins drive - could walk to Amadores). Also close drive to Puerto de Mogan which is a great place for dinner and sunset. Ester was really friendly and helpful.

Playa del Cura
Featuring an outdoor pool, Four Seasons - Playa del Cura in Playa del Cura has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. The location, the view, and having breakfast on a sunny balcony. The apartment facing southeast, so from early morning till afternoon it is sunny. There is an extractable shade so you can block the direct sunlight in the balcony. Our favored beach Amadores is pretty close, The apartment house is close to everything, stores, beaches, and restaurants. The beds are comfortable, though the double mattress could be a little wider. The kitchen is well equipped, clean and it is suitable for preparing and cooking food for a whole family. The heated pool is great, however, the first week the water was called, The heating system was broken as we learned from the neighbors.

Playa del Cura
Located in Playa del Cura, just a few steps from Playa de Tauro, Mar Paraiso has beachfront accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, a casino, a terrace and free WiFi. Roomy, good facilities and in a gated community. Close to the sea, Spar and restaurant for lunch. Also a bus stop to other beaches was close at hand. Parking was easy (February) and free. The view from the balcony was wonderful, both in the day and evening.
This location had been a Spanish armed-forces training area in previous years but is now extensively developed with hotels and apartments. The town's other commercial facilities are limited and the location is somewhat offgrid so that private transport should be considered , even for nearby access. Beach-area blends soft-sand with rocky perimeter to East and South-West with short paseo walking-route.
We loved the cosy and unoccupied beach with stunning sunset views. It's really easy to get around Playa del Cura. We enjoyed the long walkings along the coast leading us to some beautiful places as Playa de Amadores. There are some good restaurants around where you will be offered a good steak or a great paella.
Nice beach ,never too crowded. Couple of decent restaurants in Playa Del Cura itself and a 10 min bus ride brings you to the Port de Mogan which is well worth visiting for a stroll / drink / meal.
Playa del Cura was not bad, the entry to water was with some stones and the beach could get quite crowded as it is relatively small. It is surrounded by hotels. There was a lifeguard on duty. However, the near Playa Tauro was much better - bigger than Playa del Cura, yellow sand and nicer water entry. Also more space and therefore less crowded. Playa Tauro is a wild beach (no supporting structures, or lifeguard)
I visited during times of Covid-19 restrictions. The resort was quiet, which was lovely for me, but not so good for the local traders of course. The beach is sandy and smooth. It is calm and sheltered and just right for swimming. Playa del Cura is a small resort but larger resorts, such as Maspolomas, are within 30 minutes drive. There appeared to be a good public transport service but I had a car, so did not use it. As I self catered, I did not try any of the few local eateries that remained open. The Spar supermarket was closeby and had all of the basics (along with a huge range of alcohol!). I strongly recommend driving to the Dunas de Maspolomas (less than a 30 minute drive) in the late afternoon (for the best light) to view the dunes at the National Reserve. You can also take a stroll along the promenade from Maspolomas to Playa del Ingles, which is very pleasant.
Great location for getting around the island as the buses are very regular & good price to use. Nice little cove & beach area, unfortunately no facilities on the beach bars toilets etc. Nice little square with a few bars & restaurants. The Steak house was our favourite restaurant lovely food & friendly staff, also the Italian restaurant near the spar is good excellent cafe lattes my hubby liked the beer there too, nice staff.
Very comfortable apartment for a family (2+1 or 2+ 2), it has all amenities you need to self catering. Contact with Marianna was the best (thank you!). The apartment was really clean and we were even welcomed with some food and wine, wow thank you :-) Playa del Cura is really calm and relaxing. Really close you will have Spar and some restaurants and cafeteria. Free parking is also really close. To the beach is also 5 minutes walk. We would recommend this apartment to everyone!
Playa del Cura
Its was my best vacations! The best biggest and modern apartment surprised me with its high level of comfort! Great place Playa Del Cura - Tauro beach, although you could walk in 15 minutes (and 3 minutes by car) to the famous Amadores Beach. I will no longer go to the hotels, Its just different level of holidays. Marina and André thank you so much! I was especially impressed by the giant bed with very large Smart TV on the wall in the large bedroom overlooking the ocean!
Playa del Cura
Playa del Cura is a lovely quiet place and very beautyful. A lot of hills so be ready to walk uphill. The apartment was very nice an spotlessly clean. Everything our family needed was in the apartment, for example football, toys, kitchen had everything. Location good, just a few minuter downhill an then you are at the beach. Very close to supermarket ,restaurants and bus stop, maybe 4 minutes. Nice host and good communication.
Playa del Cura
The view from the appartement and the nicely decorated terrace with lounge seats. The swimming pool. Playa del Cura is an excellent place to stay if you prefer quietness. The bay is also nice for swimming, good supermarket Spar and Puerto Mogan is not some far away as well as the dunes from las Palomas. You can do some nice big walks in the neighbourhood
Playa del Cura
The apartment was perfect: clean, spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. Beautiful view from the spacious patio. Lovely pool and the most comfortable sun loungers I’ve ever known. Very kind members of staff who helped a lot. Good breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel. I would love to go back.
Playa del Cura
Staying in one of those apartment built on the cliffs is an experience that was worth it. The view is stunning. You can reach 3 beaches on foot: Playa del Cura, Playa de Tauro and the busy Playa de Amadores. We loved the undeveloped, laid-back Playa de Tauro and the restaurant-bar on it, the Pio Pio.
Playa del Cura
Playa del Cura is a lovely quiet location with a selection of restaurants and delightful view. The monsenor apartments are well placed to enjoy the outlook. There is a really good restaurant and tapas bar in the complex. Both provide excellent meals for a reasonable price.
Playa del Cura
It is a very quiet place with few restaurants and a supermarket. The bed was very comfortable, well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom. The hotel is next to the see, 150m walk to the closest sandy beach.
Very clean hotel and rooms. Rooms were spacious. Lovely food and Staff were very helpful. No fighting for sunbeds around the pool- all very nice.
The view is beautiful and the hotel is very clean.
Playa del Cura
Nice hotel. Relaxed atmosphere.
Playa del Cura
Excellent views over the bay area. There were lifts to get to the top and we had no problems with them with our children. There are a small number of steps to get down to the property so it’s not barrier free. We had no problems with collecting the keys - a short call to the owner and we met him at Monseñor reception. There are many pools, including one at the top with play area (in need of repair) and baby pool. the water slide wasn’t in operation. There’s also a bar at the top which we didn’t visit. We did visit the restaurant at the bottom and the paella and food generally was excellent. There’s satellite TV with UK channels (until 21:45) and Spanish channels.
