Very friendly and beautiful ocean side city, lot of restaurants, supermarkets and shops. You can see the Ironman monument. Very nice long beaches, not too crowded. However tourism is very influenced by the British and you will find many Indian restaurants and British pubs here. Sometimes we felt like in a British colony and not Spain. However I guess thats fine if you’re British. We just wanted to experience more of the Spanish culture. The buses leave every 20 minutes and you can get pretty much anywhere in the island with them.KarolínaCzech Republic - Scored 1010

The resort is lively but not too lively. The front has an array of bars, restaurants and shops. There is a very good bus service so you can visit other resorts and also plenty of places to walk or cycle to. I really enjoy cafe ola in the late afternoon for the entertainment and also the evening entertainment at Cherry Moon and Spoons

Busy coastal strip for tourists, plenty of restaurants, particularly good was Pinocchio and O'Reilly's. Plenty of music at night. Assortment of very varied restaurants and bars, absolutely something for everyone. Our favourite was an Indian restaurant on the front Delhi Deleciou lovely meal great service . Very clean and friendly island Good value, spending money goes further than at home. Nice beaches and access to water sports and various excursions. Great weather, ideal for all ages and families. We booked a sea view apartment with own balcony were we could relax in the sun. Food was delicious, breakfast was amazing with loads of options, including Prosecco 😂, dinner (buffet) also fantastic with loads of options. Customer Service excellent, very friendly. There was a small store to buy everything that you need. Around the hotel was many stores, souvenirs, bars, groceries..... Beach was around 5 minutes by walk We rent a car and travel over whole island. It's such an amazing place, highly recommended! If I come back to Lanzarote, I come back only to this hotel. The breakfast is amazing and varies a bit among days which is nice. They have a cook who makes some hot food in addition to the buffet provided. The best part of the hotel is the staff, they are all super nice people who ensures your visit to the island and the hotel is special! Will choose again for future visits to Lanzarote

Service excellent. Stay here and then take a taxi to access Puerto Del Carmen main resort or enjoy the facilities and resteraunts Matagorda has to offer to avoid the highly commercialised main resort. (Only 6 euro into resort in taxi) this property is directly on beach.
