We totally enjoyed our time at the Pension Obel. It was clean and had blankets. The cafe is attached downstairs. We met some really nice locals. The owners were fantastic and so helpful. Such a wonderful place.

The room was exceptionally large. The layout of the room, actually a suite, was quirky but successful. We enjoyed having enormous windows and a small sitting area. The dining room where we had breakfast was beautiful, and the food excellent. Parking was spacious and easily accessible. We liked the interior design of the public areas, which displayed an unusual selection of materials and furnishings: a modern hotel like no other I have seen.

We stayed here during running of the bulls. When we showed up they had matadors outside we thought they were greeters. They were the matadors that actually do the bull fighting. Super cool experience to meet them.

    The receptionist and staff was rude ,unkind and overwoked .We are tourists walking the Camino, when we arrived we are tired, we don't speak Spanish ,our cun card (for phone wasn't working) They refused to help us with a simple phone call to the transport company to forward our back packs finally did it which took them all of 3 minutes ,but they made a hudge deal out of it by talking Spanish loudly abot us to each other very rude ,Would NEVER recommend this hotel ,unless you can speak Spanish, we were not treated well

    Hotel entrance and carpark difficult to locate,once inside reception advised underground car park, at 10euro per night. Very difficult entrance for big cars. Beatiful room with an excellent bathroom Disappointing restaurant due to lack of choice, however the food was good.

    Very nice hotel, clean, with very friendly and supportive staff at the reception. I was surprised that the checkout was till 11.30 am ...maybe that is usual in Spain, but I was very glad to hear that as I had enough time for rest (Camino) I would recommend it definitelly

    Location well suited for travelling from Santander along the N260, made a prior arrangemnent to park our motorcycles in the secure hotel underground car park for a small charge. Overall a great first nights stop over.
