The location was great. We didn’t get a chance to eat at the hotel as we were in the area for a wedding. We wish we had time to explore the town.

Samuel and Priscille were cooperative, accomplished hosts. Their guest suite is private and spotlessly clean. The bed was superbly comfortable. Best was the generously offered friendly assistance with transport to our function and the train station. They discovered our left behind hearing aids (!) and delivered them to us on the platform before our train came. Visitors arriving by car can park easily outside the property.

Le cosy de Nilisiga - Jouars Pontchartrain offers accommodations in Jouars-Pontchartrain, 4.7 miles from France Miniature and 6.8 miles from Château de Thoiry.

We were very lucky to stay at this property during the heatwave in June 2026. This property was very well equipped with everything you would need during a normal stay, but it was also equipped with an air conditioner and roller shutters on the glass door and windows. This meant that we were able to remain comfortable during this very hot time. It was so nice, that we actually extended our stay by two nights, as it was more comfortable than our home would be. Due to the length of our stay a cleaner came and emptied the bins, changed the sheets and towels and gave the place a good clean. It really was a great place!
