Les Vignes Blanches is located a 20-minute drive from Pont du Gard. It offers soundproofed rooms, a garden and outdoor swimming pool. Free parking and free Wi-Fi are available. The staff were ok, but they spoke very little English (luckily we understand French). The breakfast was OK. The swimming pool was very nice and the area around it quite nice, like a little hidden oasis...just too bad that the main street is right next to it 🤦♀️
Domaine des Clos is set in an enclosed park of 4 hectares in the countryside, a 5-minute drive from Beaucaire. . The Hotel was superb. Comfortable, clean and in a wonderful setting. Close to Nimes, Arles and other great places to visit. Can't wait to revisit next year, if not sooner.
Located in Beaucaire, 328 feet from the canal, Chez Waucquier offers an apartment and a studio. Bars, restaurants and supermarkets can be found within a 10-minute walk. Excellent apartment, well equipped kitchen, great location super clean. There is also a small terrace & kitchen with washing machine that you can use. Great value for money.
Located in Beaucaire in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, LE GRAND ROUGET has a balcony and city views. The air-conditioned property is 11 miles from Arles. Really nice terrace! And the courtyard below was lovely. We had a "peeping Tom" - the most lovely climbing roses, huge blossoms!
Located in Beaucaire, 29 miles from Le Grau-du-Roi, Gîtes Le Mas Guiraud has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi. We loved everything about Le Mas Giraud. The host was very quick at responding to messages prior to arrival and was there on our arrival as agreed. The property was lovely - spotlessly clean on arrival. It was nicely furnished in a very unpretentious and homely French style. It had a large, comfortable sofa, plenty of crockery and cutlery, TV & DVD player. Large dining table and chairs and well equipped kitchen with an efficient oven and hob plus a dishwasher. Both bedrooms were really nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. Air-con which is really vital as it was very hot during our stay. The bathroom was modern with a good shower and plenty of hot water. Outside there was a nice terrace/patio and the property had plenty of outside seating -including in shaded areas. The weather was so good we ate out every night of our stay - we did discover that there were a few mosquitos around but once we used spray and Citronella candles problem was solved. There was a pretty garden with a grassed area and landscaped/planted areas around the large pool, which can by used by anyone staying at the accommodation. We also had a lovely small private pool that we tended to used mostly as it meant we could pop in and out of the house for drinks and snacks. The pools and pool areas were clean and well kept. Some reviews commented on the nearby road which is at the end of the access road. I have to say that it didn't bother us in the least. The property is brilliantly situated just 5 - 10 minutes from major roads that take you down into Provence or into other areas of the Gard. You are 15 minutes from Arles, 20 - 30 minutes from Avignon, 20 minutes from Nimes. Near to the Carmargue and about an hour away from some of the pretty hilltop villages in Luberon. I suppose the test of how much you enjoy a place is whether you would book again and I would definitely have no hesitation in booking at Mas Giraud again.
Offering free WiFi and city views, L'ISLE is a property located in Beaucaire. The air-conditioned property is 11 miles from Arles. Location is good not so much for Beaucaire, but because it is close to lots of other places (Avignon, Nimes, Montpellier, Aix, Marseilles etc.)
Located in Beaucaire, 13 miles from Arles, Les coronilles provides a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi. A good place to make a stop. Nice location with a free private parking, a terrace and a good breakfast. The hostess was nice and provides a good homemade breakfast.
Beaucaire is centrally placed for visiting the region. The Camargue, Arles, Nimes, Avignon, St Remy, Les Baux De Provence and the Alpilles, The Luberon, Orange and Mont Ventoux are all easy to get to. Cyclists benefit from having two main cycle routes crossing in Beaucaire, and can travel to most of the places above on traffic free or quiet roads. as a city of history and culture there is plenty to see in the protected medieval centre - the castle museum is worth a visit for the town's history. Lovers of hiking will love the Alpilles. and the hills behind Beaucaire, and the Camargue is superb for lovers of wildlife and has long sandy beaches too!
Beaucaire is a pleasant place to stroll around with interesting buildings and reasonably priced restaurants and bars. Tarascon is a short walk away across the river and I would recommend a visit to the Souleiado museum.
We only hired this Villa for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding in Tarascan. It was very Rustic which half the guests really liked - I prefer something very contemporary , so for me it was quaint , but not my taste. - but i have to admit it had a very endearing charm about it. The pool was very clean , but i felt the grass needed cutting around the villa. OVERALL the villa is lovely if old charming typically french is what you are looking for .
Beaucaire Mas de Guiraud has excellent location twinned with Tarancon. Owner Marylene and husband live close by if any problems and manage the property themselves and could not be more welcoming with bottles of wine in fridge in day of arrival.quiet rural location and lovely grounds and pool. we also made use of washing machine.
