Convenient location, easy access off the motorways. Lovely village to explore so perfect for a short stay. Old coaching inn, charming with plenty of character. Large rooms, and well equipped for a one night stay. Really friendly and helpful staff, they made us feel very welcome. Nice restaurant, we had an evening meal there and the steak was cooked perfectly.. Breakfast buffet was simple but there was more than enough choice. Plenty of parking off the road right in front of the hotel.
