Breakfast was very good with a nice selection. The owner was very friendly, however she spoke little English so it was difficult communicating. Loved the location very close to the castle.

The best Chambres d’hotes/B&B we have ever been to, either side of the channel. Beautiful decor, comfortable bed, great location, fabulous breakfast and friendly helpful host. What more could you want. Highly recommended!

It's quite a small town, very pretty with nice little shops. The castle appears right in front of you as you enter the town centre, very imposing and beautiful. We did the tour of the castle which has a very interesting history. Had lunch at a nice restaurant on the terrace in the Square.

Several restaurants were closed so it was a bit challenging especially for a vegetarian but we were there in mid- Sept, slightly shoulder season. Lovely town nonetheless, and most tourists were French.
Lovely little property with gardens a short walk from the centre of Langeais. We had a charming little cottage room up the top of the garden with spacious bathroom. A friendly greeting from Brodie and Patrick and the dog. Beautiful breakfast room. Lots of helpful advice and tips, and the hosts kindly liaised with the bike hire company for delivery and pick up. A great first couple of nights in the Loire and good base for biking to the châteaux Azay-le Rideau and Villandry.
The proprietors Brody and Patrick (and his dog) were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and attentive.
Excellent breakfast and good converstaion. Location fine for going outfor evening meal and well placed to explore the Loire.
Langeais is a small market town and only a short (300 yards) walk. Chateau Villandry, beautiful gardens, and Chateau Chenonceau are both within an hours drive.
The location was ideal for visiting chateaux west of Tours. It was well out of town (Langeais) and therefore quiet. The location also meant that we stayed in each night (three nights) for dinner. Amelie was a wonderful cook, and we had three delicious home cooked meals. Amelie's English was much better than my French. Amelie also provided advice on chateau visiting.
We needed to check in early to have enough time to visit the Chateau Langeais and the staff were very accommodating. When we checked in, we were given a breakfast menu that we could check our preferences...very thoughtful. We were overwhelmed by the attention from what we thought was a Chambre d'Hôtes. The staff were attentive, available and made our stay memorable.
What a fabulous place to stay in Langeais - the attic room was huge with great facilities, and extremely comfortable with great bathroom.
The Hosts were fantastic and served a lovely breakfast every morning, also some nice restaurants in the town.
Plenty of parking on the street outside.

Terrace at side to enjoy the sunshine. Friendly staff, excellent dinner, traditional French menu, and breakfast. Not far from the nice town of Langeais with its beautiful castle which we visited the next morning.
This hotel is reminicent of a typical French auberge from 25 years ago - basic accommodation, very good food, and a warm welcome. The friendliness of the host ensures that any misgivings are overcome.

The photos don’t do it justice! The apartment is lovely, big and modern. The bathroom is exceptionally beautiful. The location is so close to Langeais town.
