There was an extremely high cost to use the pool and spa.
There was an extremely high cost to use the pool and spa. This was not evident when booking. Also a ridiculously $$$ amount for vandalism tax which is refundable but an extreme measure since the hotel is not even in the city of Avignon. But still there is a city tax. On the plus side there were options for dining out not far from the hotel.

quite a good spot to take a trip to Avignon-City, (close to motorway, 10 min to a free public parking "les italiens") but totally quiet (no noise from the motorway) bonne cuisine du soir, rich buffet for breakfast in a sunny Wintergarde-style restaurant receptionist Angelique was really so !

Full marks to the receptionist who kindly upgraded us to what I assume is one of their best rooms and which was located on the ground floor towards the inner courtyard. This had the added advantage that we could park right in front of our room. This room was much more spacious and even had a couch. The room had electric shutters which created a total black out. The free secure parking was the main reason we chose this hotel

Neighbourhood is calm and peacefull. Parking on the premises. 3 minutes from the local boulangerie, within 10minutes of the center of Avignon and within an hour drive of all sightseeings and markets like Uzes, Beaux de Provence, Gordes, Arles, Abbaye de Senanque etc etc. We loved it.

It feels like being home in a beautiful environment. The swimming pool is a big plus as well! Located just 10min maximum from Avignon city centre.
