This is the best boutique hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Staff are kind, friendly and very professional. The hotel and room decor is stunning, with a lovely ambiance. The room is spacious, with a very comfortable bed, there’s a minibar, and the shower is great. Loved the outdoor space with plunge pool too. In a great location, a short stroll to shops, restaurants and the market.

Beautiful place and very comfortable. One of the prettiest places I have stayed in all my travels. The host was so nice and helpful. She made sure I had a good plan to visit the area and made good suggestions. The breakfast is a must. The decor was amazing. It felt very safe and the automated check-in was cool and easy.

A charming and comfortable hotel. The hostess was welcoming and pleasant. The location was quiet, but only steps away from sites and restaurants. I was in room 3, and it was recently renovated. It was comfortable, large, and very fresh feeling. The breakfast was nice as well. Great coffee. All in all, it was a very nice stay. If I'm ever in Narbonne again, I know where I will stay

Breakfast was brought right to our room/patio/courtyard area for my family. This made the morning mush more relaxing. Also, the breakfast was fresh, plentiful, a must in my opinion. The rooms were well equipped, very clean, nicely decorated and had enough space for luggage and personal items. The front desk staff was very accommodating, friendly and helpful.

Well laid out city, lots of shops and restaurants and a lovely central area which is pedestrianised, great to walk around both during the day and evening. Free local bus which tours the central area. Lots of historical sights to see. We also went on the galleon bateau which took about an hour and we went through 2 locks which was very interesting, this was after being refused one of the little electric self drive boats as we hadn't booked in advance. The little tourist train is a waste of money, so walk instead, everything is close by. Would thoroughly recommend the Cathedral, absolutely huge and for a vegan/veggie meal try Chez Marius. Staff there absolutely lovely but it gets busy so might be best to book. Avoid heading to the outskirts of the city as its not so nice, quite scruffy in places. For long term parking try Indigo just opposite Les Halles as other parking places had a 5 hour limit. The market at Les Halles is a must see, gorgeous food and great characters selling absolutely everything you could need and surprisingly not expensive. Thursday and Sunday there is also an outdoor market along the canal, huge and very popular!

Narbonne is a beautiful old town. The cathedral is amazing. Worth seeing all the buildings around the cathedral. Beautiful shops. Very enjoyable to walk around the old town. The tourist information office was very helpful. The Narbonne fresh produce market has an amazing selection of fruit, vegetable, meats, fish, cheeses and ready made food and pastries and bread etc. Unfortunately all the shops are closed Sunday and Mondays so it is very quiet then. Other days lots people and shops and cafes open. Centre of old town does not allow car access so you need to be dropped off and then walk short distance into the centre of old town and possibly to your accommodation.

A charming safe city with great sights and restaurants. Just a few minutes from the Mediterranean and great vineyards. Excellent road and rail links. Not too touristy, a ‘real place’. Narbo Via is an essential place to visit to learn all about the Roman period in the area, a fabulous museum.

Narbonne is a pretty town with some beautiful gothic buildings and Roman ruins. One day is plenty to visit everything though so I wouldn't recommend a longer stay on a tourist trip, unless you were using it as a base to explore the region.

    Narbonne was a nice surprise.

Narbonne was a nice surprise. Booked in mainly to break up travel between Lourdes and Barcelona, and to attend Latin Mass at Saint Sebastian Church. Originally thought we might eat at Les Grande Buffets, but Les Halles market offerings were more than adequate! Picturesque canal and market area.

A small city (accessible on foot) on the Canal de la Robine, which links the Canal du Midi to the Mediterranean. Has all the usual French experiences of food, wine, shops, culture and friendly people plus a massive dose of Roman history - Narbo Via is a must. Easy access to the coast (Gruissan is lovely), and to/from Carcassonne (airport and fairytale old city). If you think it’s a long way to go, think again - 90 minute flight, easy small airport, quiet roads, cheap reliable public transport. And shorts/T-shirts in October. For a special occasion we ate at Le Petit Comptoir - not cheap, but great food, wine, atmosphere and service.

The hotel was in a great location, close to the centre of Narbonne and all the amenities. The hotel staff were excellent, they were very helpful and knowledgeable and helped us park our car in their private garage. The room was very nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. We did not have breakfast but did visit the hotel restaurant in the evening. The food and wine were excellent! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Narbonne.

We loved the house, our room, the meals, and the hosts. It was perfect! It is a beautiful domaine in rural France and was quiet, peaceful, and restoring. The breakfasts are excellent. In the evenings, we enjoyed the great selection of wines and the in-house selection of bocas (dinners) and the amazing cheese plate. Biking along the Canal du Midi with bikes borrowed from the domaine was one of the highlights of our trip.

Fantastic location in the centre of Narbonne. The owner had only taken over the hotel one week before our stay. The rooms were clean, but very outdated, which will obviously be addressed and made up to modern standards soon. Breakfast was very good, but the breakfast room again was very tired. The owner told us, that she would start the renovation work here soonest.

A tackily fitted out room that didn't seem in place with being in a rennovated, historical convent. It felt more like a room in a theme park than a room in a old building of interest. The convent is in a great location next to the canal with parking for 6 cars within the enclosed courtyard. Narbonne was quiet and had seen better days.
