A very pleasant stop on the famous "Route Nationale 7" mythic French vacation highway. Also easily accessible from the major highway. Tain is a wonderful town, right on the Rhone River, with world-famous vineyards. Check out some of the wine bars operated by the vineyards in the center of town. Wonerful market on Saturday mornings. It is positioned right at the end of the bridge, which gives you easy walking access to the old town, as well as being walking distance to wineries in the new town. The hotel staff were kind and welcoming with a nice breakfast on offer too. The air con in the room was very pleasant as it was incredible hot when we visited.
