Loved everything about it, even though our room (the cheapest) was small. The hotel and surroundings are GORGEOUS, the food was good and the staff was exceptional: friendly, efficient and helpful. Can't say enough good things about it. Hope to return.

The rooms were great! We were a family of four with 2 kids. The bathtub was full size with an amazing shower. Our room had many hooks which assisted in maximizing our space and keeping bags and clothes off the floor. The family that runs the hotel was very helpful and kind. Although on a busy road, you could not hear the cars with the windows closed and we slept very well, perhaps too well! We would come back!

Location is superb if you don't mind a 250m walk up a steep hill. The small footpath takes you right from the hotel to the old town. The hotel is on a busy road but is not noisy, rooms have shutters. Our rooms had balconies. The staff were really helpful, letting us keep our bicycles in the laundry because a pro cycling team had taken up all the space in the garage. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice for €10

Excellent family run hotel! They made us feel welcome. It is a short stroll into a hidden gem of a village. Breakfast on the terrace with a view of the Mediterranean was a treat, and then later drinks from the bar on the terrace after a dip on the pool. The building is from a by-gone era of luxury, and the hotel is an oasis from the bustling life along French Riviera.

    We are staying in an apartment for three weeks and loving Vence. The food artisans are great and the bus connections good even the timetable leaves something to be desired. The old town is fascinating.

    The weather wasn't great.

    The weather wasn't great. It rained quite a lot and the temperature was up and down. In fact I got a bad cold. But Vence itself and Vence St Paul are beautiful places. Two Medieval towns very well preserved and a pleasure to explore on foot. Unfortunately, the museum was closed and this was a disappointment for me but I did enjoy my visits to the Matisse Chapel in Vence and the Fondation Maeght in Vence St Paul. Great if you are an art lover as I am.

    Vence is a cute little historical town.

    Vence is a cute little historical town. The old center is small but very nice to walk about. The rest of the city is modern and quiet. Definitely worth a visit and perhaps a night stay. Add it to your itinerary to St. Paul de Vence.

    Situated beautifully with panoramic views towards the Med and Antibes. The house is absolutely lovely with masses of ‘hygge’ as we say in Denmark and it’s welcoming and comfortably decorated with a lovely relaxing ambiance. The pool is fab. Deep and cooling.     Vence is under-rated when compared to its more illustrious...

    Vence is under-rated when compared to its more illustrious neighbours Tourette’s and St Paul de Vence. But it is just as pretty and more interesting in what it offers. The main church is really interesting with its museum upstairs. Good choice of restaurants but book in advance as they get busy!

    Vence is the most fabulous town.

    Vence is the most fabulous town. It’s close proximity to Nice and the beach is a great advantage too. It has a brilliant selection of excellent restaurants of high standard. The overall character of the old town is spectacular. I cannot wait to revisit this amazing town.

    We had an extraordinary stay in this house in Saint-Paul-de-Vence! It is a historic heritage building, full of authenticity and charm, very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The house is extremely comfortable and fascinating, with every corner telling a story and reflecting the uniqueness of the place. Check-in and communication went smoothly, and the staff was very kind and helpful. The town itself is absolutely beautiful. We highly recommend this property — you will not regret choosing it!

    The apartment is adorable, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped — washing machine, dishwasher, iron, and a very well-stocked kitchen. It was a pleasure to cook and eat at home. Private covered parking is a big plus, and the apartment is within walking distance of Vence’s center and a convenient Leclerc supermarket. Perfect as a base to explore the area: Saint-Paul-de-Vence is nearby, and we easily visited Eze, Nice, Antibes, and more. Highly recommended! 🌟

    Amelie was a wonderful host, very friendly, polite and helpful and assisted us wherever she could. Location is excellent, close to town, easy walking. Well appointed kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher. Great view. Vence is a great town to explore, would love to visit again.

    Stuff was really attentive, patient and very friendly. This is unique to France to have such an excellent and kind service . The hôtel has all you need for one night stay , maybe two. I also liked the mattress , was definitely new and chosen with care. I slept well.
