Be aware the restaurants in Ballymena close by 9pm in the week, however they are open till 10.30pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Getting around is relatively easy with pubs, bars and restaurants concentrated close to the center of town. Ballymena - nice market town but Sunday its difficult to find anywhere open - especially before lunch o clock. Some nice wee bars and the food in the Grouse was quite nice. Staff also v friendly. We have to mention also that the bed, Mattress and pillows were so comfortable. The best nights sleep. Our bedroom and ensuite were both so clean we had all we needed. Enough parking, relaxing clean facilities, tasty breakfast and beautiful calming views of the countryside. The room was surprisingly big, it was nice and clean, the bed comfy and even had a big screen t.v. 😁 tea, coffee and bottled water in the room was a nice touch and you can help yourself to a lot of stuff downstairs in the kitchen.
