Lovely and quiet at this time of year.

Lovely and quiet at this time of year. Beaches, coastal paths and dunes amazing for walking - very dog friendly cafes and pubs - The Landing, Craster Arms and Beadnell Towers. If you want shops, easy drive to Seahouses.

Beadnell is now a mainly tourist village, with a lot of new houses and more being built. But this is because it is such a good location, right next to the sea with the coast path, the wide and long sandy beaches and tiny old harbour. for a small places there are quite a few places to eat, and a shop. It is very popular with people with dogs, and kite-surfers!

Beadnell is a busy destination during the summer.

Beadnell is a busy destination during the summer. It has good beaches, several coffee shops and restaurants to suit most people. The Courtyard Coffee shop was particularly handy for a quick bite to eat. A Fish and Chip van is parked near the village shop but you would need to check opening times. Very good local village shop which is clean and well stocked. Food, Gifts cards, Ice cream, drinks, newspapers magazines wine and beer. You can walk between the village and the harbour. There is a caravan park and several chalets to rent out. There are a number of places to park but at weekends and peak times it’s a little more tricky. A short car ride away is Seahouses and in addition Beadnell is a good base to explore the Northumbrian coast.

Excellent location for Farn Islands and Holy Island.

Excellent location for Farn Islands and Holy Island. Only complaint is there are very few restaurants or pubs nearby and the cafe closed at 5pm. Accommodation is very good value for what we paid and is roomy and comfortable for 2 people.

Ideal location for walking miles on long deserted beaches.

Ideal location for walking miles on long deserted beaches. Very easy also if you want to visit Bamburgh, Seahouses, Craster, Holker and Alnwick as well as Holy Island. Beadnell is very quiet with only one, well stocked, village shop, but some good places to eat as well as a (seasonal ) mobile chip shop! If you enjoy plenty of noise, a harbour and want to buy sticks of rocks/gifts to take home, do some food shopping, then Seahouses is only a short distance away. The boat trips to the Farne Islands also go from here. This is the fourth time we have visited Beadnell and I have no doubt that we will return again soon.

Ideal location in the heart of beadnell, ticked the boxes for us we wanted a quiet relaxing weekend. Very quiet at night, parking outside ample for 2 cars. Hotel directly behind us serving excellent Sunday dinners and craster arms literally a 10m away. We took 2 dogs with us and was ideal, as back garden is paved and enclosed so they could go out and play in safety without the thought of bringing dirt back in the house

Friendly, helpful staff, despite it being incredibly busy when we checked in on Saturday night. excellent cooked breakfast the following morning. Nice comfortable room, with good drawer space - a rarity in so many hotels these days. We ate in the hotel on the Saturday night. Although it was really busy, the staff had thoughtfully kept a table for us, and the service was good despite the restaurant being full.

Absolutely fantastic apartment, well equipped with lots of extras too such as tea, coffee, sugar, ice in freezer, toiletries and cleaning products. It was clean and tidy with good furnishings. The apartment is in the middle of the village with couple of minutes walk to The Craster Arms pub and restaurant. Beadnell as a village is great to walk into Seahouses and to the Beadnell harbour and beach.

located right on a river-beautiful scenery. 5 minute walk to Beadnell beach (1 hour free parking if you take the car ) Short drive close to Seahouses-beautiful fish and chips! The property was very clean and had everything we needed. Looking forward to coming back In the summer to make use of the garden. Our stay was in January so we were unable to sit out.

In the centre of Beadnell village, a great position. Inside the furnishings are comfortable and not too fussy. Good shower. We were there in chilly February and the house was lovely and warm in the evenings.
