AC seemed to be on a lower setting but the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and adjusted the settings upon request so that the room was cool for when we got back from going out. TV was a really good size a directly lined up with the bed, equipped with chrome cast for easy streaming.
Overall great value for money and a very comfortable stay, would definitely recommend.

A special thank you to Sharada, Punam, and Uma for their exceptional service every morning at breakfast. They thoughtfully remembered our vegetarian dietary requirements and kindly brought the vegetarian basil starters directly to our table each day, which made us feel truly cared for.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience, and this is now my second stay with Holiday Inn Express. Last year, I stayed at Holiday Inn Express Snow Hill, and once again the high standard of hospitality has impressed me.
I look forward to staying here again in the coming years when I visit my daughter, who is studying LLB at University of Birmingham, travelling all the way from Singapore each year. Highly recommended!

Top-Class Shopping, Culture and Sport
The UK's 2nd largest city, Birmingham is one of its top cultural centres. Well-known for the M6 Spaghetti Junction interchange, it is a surprisingly green city with lots of open spaces.
Most city centre hotels in Birmingham are near New Street Station. To the east is the futuristic architecture of the new Bull Ring shopping centre, and just behind is Digbeth Coach Station. To the west is Victoria Square, home of the town hall and a German Christmas Market.
The Mailbox is one of the newest additions to the Birmingham shopping scene, and behind it is one of the canals converging on the Gas Street Basin. By one canal are the ICC (International Convention Centre) and the NIA (National Indoor Arena), both venues that host major events.
Just opposite is Brindleyplace, a canal-front complex of restaurants, bars and hotels near Broad Street – the main nightlife area. It is popular with students at nearby Birmingham University, whose clock tower is modelled on the one in Siena. Just south in Bournville is Cadbury World, and there are several hotels on Hagley Road to the north, which are available on Booking.com.
The city is also known for sports – Aston Villa and Birmingham City are the top football clubs, while Edgbaston Cricket Ground hosts international matches. Other Birmingham attractions include Hockley’s Jewellery Quarter and the NEC arena by Birmingham International Airport.

Lots of things that are enjoyable to see and do or experience. The Museum and Art Gallery, The Exchange, The Mailbox, Brindley Place, The Jewellery Quarter, Bull Ring Shopping Centre, The Custard Factory, Symphony Hall, The Library and the massive selection of wonderful restaurants. Chez Mai at The Mailbox do lovely cream tea and afternoon tea as do The Clayton Hotel ( East side of B'ham) - all need to be booked first. I love the stunning architecture of the Victoria Law Courts at the top end of Corporation Street. Magnificent Grade 1 listed building. Behind here at 40 Steelhouse Lane you can visit West Midlands Police Museum. There is an entrance fee which is worth paying. It makes for a good interesting family visit.

Friendly and helpful locals, loads of people stopped to ask if we were lost or to offer directions (tbh mostly we were just wandering aimlessly but sometimes we were lost). Felt safe even at night. Culturally diverse with good restaurants. Lots of history to see as you wander

Very interesting places to visit, the new Library, Art gallery and museum, the Jewellery quarter, the Pen Museum, National Trust ‘’Back to Backs’ and there’s very good shopping. City map was confusing at times as it’s a big city, few street corners seemed to have names and everywhere takes longer to reach on foot than expected. New Street station is vast and it’s hard to know which exit is best for the places you wish to visit. Plenty of time is needed to find the right platform. There’s lots of places to eat in the city and a good bus and tram service. The Jacobean Aston Hall a few miles from the city is worth visiting but there’s no cafe and nowhere to get a drink. It’s a half mile walk from the train station and bus stop.

Great choice of venues for both food and drink. People where very friendly and helpful. Never ever felt uncomfortable irrespective of time of day. Only downside was the amount of rubbish and improvmewnt works taking place

Went for a gig at the Utilita Arena. Had an amazing weekend in Birmingham including Broad Street, Brindley Place, Black Sabbath Bridge & walking down the canal through the Mailbox to New Street. The shops in the train station (Grand Central) are high quality, along with the restaurants and the bonus Ozzy Bull. The Bullring shopping centre has everything you need, really enjoyed our trip to Selfridges. We loved the tram expansion and had a cool experience visiting the Birmingham museum and art gallery to see the Ozzy Osborne exhibition and the Staffordshire treasure hoard. Would highly recommend a trip to Birmingham.

Wow was not expecting this it was such a great city so much choice will be back for a longer stay to go to the theatre museums cadbury world etc.
We loved the shopping centre, the bullring and the attached grand central. Had meal at banana tree great.
We came for the glamping show in coventry but wanted to see some of Birmingham.
We will come back for the canal trip and to see more and enjoy more of the city. Definitely want a meal in china town.
Sealife centre great but more aimed at children.
We where able to park city centre at the mail box that was a great car park and then we could walk everywhere.
Architecture amazing around the city.

Everything was spotless and the decor was just beautiful. It really did feel like a home away from home. Definitely recommend for those who are looking for a quiet place to stay whilst still being in the middle of the city. Everything is within walking distance too, tram is only a 5 minute walk away and it takes you straight into the city centre. Staff at reception were very welcoming and helpful. Check in was super quick and smooth. Thank you to everyone at Aparthotel Birmingham! I will be coming back again for sure.

Surprised about how comfortable, clean and fresh this hotel was inside! Welcomed well at reception. Room was well equipped, very comfortable bed and not too hot at night. Very quiet and felt very safe and only a short walk from the city centre and train station. The Christmas market was open and looked great. Breakfast was included in our price and was delicious! Great choice of cold and hot food. Would definitely stay again if I come to Birmingham!

Located in a side street off the main Hagley Road into Birmingham City Centre. So while not central, was within easy reach, and the price was very good. The area is a little run down, but the hotel (while small) is modern, clean and comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. They don't provide breakfasts, but the Edgbaston Café a 100 yards or so from the hotel does an excellent full english!

Loved the hotel, peaceful, staff were very polite and accommodating, and the room was so comfortable.
Breakfast offered a large selection of options and was of excellent quality.
The beds, oh the beds were so so comfortable. I want those pillows at home.
