The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. We actually enjoyed the uphill walk back from the city centre... Helped to burn some calories!

Comfortable with a homely feeling that big hotels don't have. The room was lovely, clean and had all the amenities expected but in a less formal environment. Would I recommend this hotel definitely would I book to stay again absolutely and maybe next time have a meal in the restaurant 💯

A spectacular view from student room ...up 82 spiral staircase steps, so fitness required but so worth it ...and breakfast + in Great Hall! Unique opportunity ...thank you!

Central location, spotlessly clean, spacious bathroom, helpful staff.

Location is excellent for visiting Durham city. Staff were really friendly, welcoming and helpful allowing us to check in early. There was a lovely touch, of complimentary pastries and a congratulatory note, for our son who was graduating.

Everything! This was our second time to visit Durham and our second stay at the Delta Excellent staff without exception Within walking distance to the Cathedral and University.

The hotel itself is splendid. Our room was well decorated, quiet and had a lovely view. The hotel is a very short walk from the Cathedral.

Bus stop on the doorstep very handy and outside space very nice

Thomas Wright House is as close as one can get to paradise on earth. The hosts and others in the locality are exceptionally friendly. The food is excellent and the natural beauty breathtaking.
