We thoroughly enjoyed our stay . We received a very personal and friendly greeting on arrival . Spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed . The breakfast was amazing . We preordered the night before from an extensive menu that included natural yoghurt and fresh fruit - (strawberries, blueberries and melon).A full English breakfast, or other selections such as poached eggs and avocado on a muffin . Love everything. The room is big and the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is not small, but the water is not very strong for the shower, everything is good, the staff is very nice, the breakfast provided was very good, the location is good, there is a cafe, you can go to cheer football.

It was an incredibly well fitted room; a fridge is always a bonus, as are real glasses. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel really special. Literally 5 minutes walk from the train station, and 5 minutes back into the centre of York, but it was so quiet on the street itself. We really couldn't have hoped for a better place to stay.
