This is a very old hotel It's a very old building , in the early morning you can hear all the people walking as the floor is noisy. Breakfast was ok but nothing amazing tbh, not much choice, it could be nice to have at least porridge or non egg food choice..
I was unfortunate to get a very uncomfortable attic room which was very hot, couldn't sleep at night & couldn't even open a window as it was fixed by chains to its frame (so you could just let some air inside but it wouldn't fully open). The hot water system was making a very weird and loud noise, I think it was the heater. The room was tiny and I couldn't move too much there. Overall clean and the only positive thing to say is the staff were nice and friendly helpful people, so I appreciated that.

Myself and my mum took my 2 sons aged 12 & 10 with my 2 nephews aged 13 & 11. The caravan was absolutely perfect. The caravan was spotless on arrival and there was more than enough space for 2 adults and 4 children. The caravan is very close to the park amenities and the boys enjoyed the freedom of exploring the site in safety. There is loads of space for kids to play, the pool was beautiful, clean and warm and the clubhouse served its purpose for our stay. We will definitely return to this caravan again and would probably stay a little longer. If you are looking for an affordable, easy, child friendly stay then I highly recommend magnum caravan. Equally tit would work for a couple looking to escape busy life. The host was easily contactable and extremely happy to help with any questions.

Maldon is a small country town with a few interesting shops some cafes and pubs to eat and drink in There are some good walks and the estuary has some great views and popular pubs. The swan in the town serves good food and on Wednesday all their excellent homemade burger meals are £10 ( almost half price)

Maldon is a lovely place for a short stopover - the High Street is very pretty and has some interesting independent shops plus a few useful chain stores. The Promenade is great for a bracing walk and plenty of food/coffee options should you need them.

Fabulous busy old historic town, plenty of independent shops, pubs and eating outlets. With a modern Promenade with water park, petting zoo, pirates treasure hunt and other attractions nearby. Plenty of parking at the promenade, choice of fast food outlets and seating areas.
Town itself is on a hill leading down to waterfront, and has limited parking if you have mobility issues.
This is a lovely old hotel with a great bar attached (brilliant range of draft beers). The inn has real character and is in the centre of the attractive town of Maldon but remarkably quiet (apart from the church bells!). The breakfast was great, the staff were friendly and the room was comfortable (we really appreciated the fan in there because it was a hot night).
It’s a beautiful boutique hotel set in a pretty area . Close to Maldon which was good for me .
The staff are very attentive and friendly . All were Covid aware and wore masks .
What was the most memorable thing for me was the amazing food ! Just so delicious classy and well presented .
A real dining experience.
Well maintained room with toiletries, and hot drink supplies and a comfy bed.
WiFi was solid - was able to do a work meeting.
Breakfast mains were amazing.
Convenient for central Maldon, with its own car park.
