I was skeptical from the negative reviews but we had a great stay. Room is basic but very clean and relatively new, comfortable bed, good shower. Staffs are very friendly, smiling and helpful. Exceptional breakfast, good variety of foods and fruits. Much better than expected. Overall a great stay.

The Parsonage Hotel & Spa is a Four Star Hotel set in 6 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland and offers free WiFi and free parking. York's city centre is only 15 minutes' drive away.

The breakfast was excellent, as was the room and leisure center could not fault the hotel at all. Staff were extremely professional and very nice .Had dinner one night with family and was excellent. Will Definitely stay again.

The reception area big and bright and clean, the room comfy and clean (a 2nd armchair would have been appreciated) bathroom on the small side but clean and functional. Bed VERY soft but comfy, pillows plentiful. Restaurant food and staff AMAZING. Nothing too much trouble, food delicious and well priced. Good selection of drinks and cocktails.
