One of the most amazing places. Beaches are wide and long with lot of place for finding a secluded corner just for yourself, sea is warm and beautiful with alluring colours and views are breathtaking. We loved Kato Nissi beach and Lefki and enjoyed snorkelling over ancient Pavlipetra city. The village of Elafonisos is vivid with lot of tavernas and places for enjoyable evenings. Perfect holiday spot. Anywhere you sit you’ll get good food and good service. Moving around the island is easy, but you’ll need a car. Getting to Elafonisos is also easy with ferries going from Pounta every 30 minutes with costs of 16 EUR for 2 adults and a vehicle.Guest review byMilenaSerbia - 10.0

Ideal place for a short (3-4 days) holiday. Beautiful beaches (although when it is windy there are waves), and lots of tavernas and fish restaurants in the port. To get there is a 4.5 hours drive from Athens to Pounta, and a 15 mins ferry ride from Pounta to Elafonisos with several ferries crossing every 30 mins. We just returned from another wonderful 9-day trip to Elafonisos — a place we visit every year and never get tired of. The island remains one of Greece’s true hidden gems, with incredible beaches like Simos and Panagia, crystal-clear waters, and a peaceful, authentic atmosphere. We always make a point to visit outside the peak months of July and August, when the island is quieter and even more enjoyable. Everything is within easy reach — great tavernas, cafés, and small shops — and the pace of life is exactly what we need to unwind. Elafonisos is a quaint island with a nice selectin of shops, local artists, great restaurants, and several beautiful beaches. We spent most of our two full days at Simi Beach during the day and in the little town in the morning and evening, but I wish we had stayed two more days and spent more time at the other beaches. We were offered a choice of rooms on arrival and the one we chose had a very comfortable bed, a good-sized bathroom, a lovely terrace where we could sit and admire the view of the sea, as well as a safe and a good- sized fridge. Beach towels are supplied for when you want to go to one of the beautiful beaches on the island. The hotel was within ten minutes' walk of the town and port which meant we could leave the car in the evening when we went into town for dinner and drinks.Guest review byMrIreland

Lokal beach is on walking distance about 500m and others famous beaches are about 4 or 5 minutes driving. Parking place in front of the house and the nearest market and restorans about 3 - 4 minutes walking. Apatment was so clear and the kitchen was equipped very well.
