Loved our stay at the Belvedere! The property is beautiful, and staff amazing. So friendly and helpful. I didn't know what to expect upon arrival, but clearly the visit exceeded my expectations.
I only wish there was more detail on the rooms and locations on the website when booking. There are some very unique rooms/suites at the property, and I don't think the website does it justice.

Firostefani is our favourite spot on the Caldera. Views absolutely stunning and within easy reach of Fira, Immerovigli and just 15 minutes from the airport.
Lots of great restaurants including Vanilia, Aktorinn and Mylos, Lots more but we didn't have time to eat at them all! There's a great take-out deli that serves salads, pizza and ice-cream as well as 2 or 3 little market stores that sell wine, soft drinks and basics.
We loved the roof-top bar called Saatchi, which plays cafe-del-mar style music and serves lovely cocktails and food, and overlooks the caldera perfect at sunset. Lovely people there too.
Firostefani is more upmarket than Fira, which was VERY touristy and busy. Firostefani and Immerovigli are much much quieter, but still buzzy.

Firostefani is a great location to stay and has a variety of restaurants with lots of food options. It is right on the Caldera so offering plenty of views and just far enough away from the busy Fira. It has become must busier than when I last visited Santorini and traffic has become more of an issue on this small Island and getting around takes much longer. We travelled in early June.

Firostefani in our opinion is a perfect place to stay in Santorini. Cheaper than Oia, and with views just as good or even better. We stayed in Oia ten years ago, and it was wonderful. But as far as sunsets, nothing beats the sunsets we saw from our balcony in Firostefani. Also, we were walking distance from both Fira and Imerovigli. The same cannot be said about Oia. My wife and I rented an ATV close by and were able to drive around the whole island. An unforgettable experience.

I highly recommend Firostefani for a home base while on Santorini. Close to restaurants and grocery store and only a 10-minute walk to Fira (nightclubs, bars). The hike (9km, moderate difficulty) from Firostefani to Oia was the best hike ever: Breathtaking, natural beauty, incredible views overlooking the caldera.

Around a km or so uphill from the main market of Fira.
Around a km or so uphill from the main market of Fira. If you'd like to stay in a calmer, more relaxing place it's Firostefani. Returning back from the town to Firostefani square is 15 euros by taxi, it's an uphill walk so mind it. Plenty of restaurants, shops, cafes. Amazing views and close to The Three Bells.
The view from our balcony was absolutely amazing and the style of the hotel made it a truly Santorini experience. We watched the sunset sitting on our balcony (no need to be with the crowds to see the sunset). The breakfast was fantastic and great care was taken by the very friendly and accommodating owners and staff to make sure we were comfortable and our needs were met. This hotel was a true 10 in all categories.
The hotel was beautifully designed, with each suite having its little quirk to work with the cliff edge. Plus the views we spectacular.
The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We would not have had as good an experience on Santorini without them.
The apartment had everything we required in a freshly renovated house one minute from the magical sunset view.
Firostefani is a great location for a stay in Santorini and Villa Fotini is the affordable top class place to stay. We will be back
Spectacular balconies with incredible views perfect for Santorini sunsets. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff were lovely. Great location in Firostefani, a short walk walk to Thira.
