Amazing place! Beautiful pool area, the pool itself was big and clean, very well kept garden between the apartments. Our apartment was big and very clean with small surprises from the host. The Jacuzzi was ready for us when we arrived which was very nice. The beds were very comfortable. We came with a car but you can easily walk on foot to nearby supermarkets and the promenade near the beach filled with shops and restaurants.

We a had a wonderful stay at Olivae Mare. It is close to the sea and nearby beaches. We stayed for a week in the Apollo room, which is on the floor with the pool. It was equiped with everything you need for 2 - a small fridge, an electric cooking hob, kitchenware. Outside we had a small table with 2 chairs at the pool side, on the entry side there was a bench with a higher table, where we had breakfast every morning. Maria was very kind and helpful, you have options for the breakfast from a list, which was great and plentiful. Hope we can come back again soon.!

We travel extensively and this was the best place we've ever stayed! Clean, comfortable, spectacular view, walk to beach and many restaurants and shopping.. But most of all, our host, Meropi, is the kindest and most caring host ever! Her home is the perfect place to spend a Cretan holiday. She fills your life with joy and love. We will return - if this review doesn't make it difficult to get a reservation!

Nice, spacious, and clean apartment. We were welcomed like family. Our check-in was late at night, and they had left water in the fridge and some snacks so we could have a bite. There was even a bit of raki in a decanter. The apartment has two rooms and a large terrace with a partial sea view. Several sandy beaches are just a short walk away. Nina, the housekeeper, was always ready to help us

    Very nice holiday town, with options to spend the evening, by no loud clubbing. Nice evening life. The town lise along the seashore, so it makes for amazing long walks at sunset or sunrise. Locals are super friendly, prices are fair, many people but not over-crowded. Very nice family taverns, great food. Many runners, so it`s a welcoming spot for early risers. I was traveling alone and felt super safe the entire time. Great options to book trips to other parts of the island, I was super happy with the offers and availability.

    Small place with shops and restaurants, easy access to beach. There is a bus which takes you to Heraklion in 30 minutes. By taxi it is maybe 20 minutes pretty convenient from the airport. Walking around is easy and you can get to the Aquarium which is fun for kids.

    A lovely small resort with just a nice amount of shops, restaurants and bars all within walking distance. it is a great central location for the airport and if you want to venture out further around the island, it is close to the main E75 and E90 routes. You are directly under the airport landing route but it wasn't a major factor or didn't detract from our great experience.
