Other than it being very spacious and clean it is also located in an ideal location for those who want to visit the island, is closest to the west coast where the most beautiful beaches are but is also not far from corfu town which is very nice to visit in the afternoon/evening. Plus the owners are really kind and welcoming.

The shortest description would be that we were not guests but part of this beautiful family.Extremely kind hosts,ready to help with whatever is needed.The house is beautiful,spacious,very clean and has everything you need to feel as at home. In the middle of a peaceful nature,with a beautiful view of the greenery, only 15 minutes drive from Corfu Town,and 3 min driive to the taverns with traditional and delicious food. While you enjoy the terrace and listen to the birds singing,you will feel like you are part of a novel. Highest recommendation for House Alexander! Everything was amazing 😍 Really friendly and attentive stuff. The room with jacuzzi is incredible. It wasn't that hot yet, and not that crowded, so it was really calm and relaxing. Gym facilities and heated pool were really good too. Overall highly recommend!

The place was literally just a few steps from the Spianada. A few minutes walk from Saroko Square, the Old Fort and oodles of restaurants to choose from. Corfu Town is so gorgeous with its Venetian influence. The island is a delight with its lush greenery compared to starker regions in the south of the country and the people on the island are so friendly. The ladies looking after us at Locandiera exemplified this same friendship. Our breakfasts were great. Our room (On the third floor. Be sure you don’t mind climbing stairs.) was large and super clean. No majestic views out picture windows from this location but you make up for it with great hosts and a central location! You walk out the door and are in the old town. Point to note if you’re thinking of renting a car: parking anywhere in Corfu Town is total nightmare. You “might” find a spot, but you’ll look a looooong time. We rented a car two days and actually rode the bus for ~10 minutes out to the airport and rented a car each day to see the countryside. Finding a parking place wasn’t worth the hassle. Lacondiera, great place! Definitely recommend.

    A vehicle is definitely needed and not the best roads on some of the journies. As if was a central location on a narrower part of the island both east and west coasts easily accessible plus Corfu town itself. About 15 minutes from the airport.
