Lagadia was the final destination of the Menalon Trail. It is a delightful stone village set into the cliff. Locals seem a bit gruff, which is sad because along the trail we received so much good will and hospitality. Good facilties and liked the veranda overlooking town. Staff very courteous and helpful. There is also an adjoining restaurant. Was able to leave my rucksack in reception area after I checked-out and return for it later. Note: there is a bus ONLY on Tuesdays, at 3pm, from the main street/square a few metres from the hotel that travels to Tripoli (onward bus to Athens leaving at 4.30pm waits for arrival).
