The location was wonderfully quiet and relaxing, allowing us to unwind and enjoy the tranquility of the area.
Eleni, our host, was exceptionally kind and friendly, always available to assist with any queries and to ensure our stay was perfect. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home.
Additionally, Sea View Luxury Apartments has a collaboration with Taxi Plakias, offering the best airport transfer service.

The A/C was new and very quiet and the room was clean. The parking is covered in the shade of olive trees and the location is great, just a three minute walk to the beach!

I love their is no major hotels so it really feels like your living with the local friendly people

Really nice resort in a beautiful location.
Really nice resort in a beautiful location. Lots of things to see and do in the local area. Lots of nice shops, restaurants and coffee shops. One slight negative feature was frequent very high winds but otherwise fantastic holiday location.

Plakias is a small, relaxed resort, loads of free parking...
Plakias is a small, relaxed resort, loads of free parking and easy to walk around - large sandy beach with sun loungers and umbrellas available, some free if you order drinks/food from one of the beachfront bars. Plenty of choices of restaurants, though menus quite similar on beach front - more traditional choices with daily specials at those away from the main strip and on the streets behind - Gio Ma & Medusa highly recommended. Lots of activities, boat tours and excursions available from Plakias. If you have a car take a short drive to one of the hill villages near for restaurants stunning sunset views over the bay. Plakias is not too busy, but if you seek more quiet, there are beautiful isolated beaches just a few minutes drive in either direction.

Big enough to have supermarkets, plenty of eating options and a 'buzz'. Not so big that it was overwhelming or tacky. Not as historical as some parts of Crete, but the secluded nearby beaches make up for that!

I loved Plakias and wished we could have stayed longer.
I loved Plakias and wished we could have stayed longer. We stayed only 3 nights but it was way too short the beaches are so beautiful, crystal clear water with some pebbles and beautiful landscape and much less crowded. Much preferred than Falassarna. Next time we come back we will likely only stay in Plakias and visit more beaches around.

Plakias left us with a great overall impression. It is a clean and very well-kept village, with the local authorities' efforts in upgrading the beachfront being clearly visible. There is plenty of space for walking, beautiful businesses, and great food—although some options were a bit pricey, you could easily find more budget-friendly alternatives of equally good quality. The main beach is huge with crystal-clear waters, and the area offers all amenities (markets, pharmacies) without the hustle and bustle of mass tourism. The only thing to keep in mind is the strong wind on some days. An ideal destination for relaxation!

The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet spot, surrounded by cliffs. It features a private, sheltered rocky bay ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The breakfast and dinner were both good, and there are plenty of activities, such as diving, yoga sessions, and evening entertainment. It’s also an excellent base for exploring the southern coast, whether by rental car or through the many organized trips offered by the hotel. For those who enjoy hiking, both Plakias and Amundi Beach are reachable by foot.

I really liked this hotel because it is located right next to the beach. There are incredibly beautiful views nearby, as well as stunning natural surroundings. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a jacuzzi and very comfortable beds. There are also some lovely shops nearby where you can find beautiful clothes and other nice things. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here and would happily recommend this hotel.

Very cozy, family hotel with beutifull garden, swimming pool. Great place for relax. Owners Family make everything you feel like home. Good localization with walking distance to the beach, mountains, market and downtown. Clean and fresh rooms and delicious breakfast (extra paid). You can really charge your batteries here:) and feel the spirit of the Crete. Thnak you very much.

Everything was great. Great place with a beautiful view of the sea. The room was very clean, with good equipment. Very nice owner, always willing to help. A great base for exploring this part of Crete.
