The staff is trying very hard. Everyone is very friendly, the food was excellent. This hotel is really great. The bartender is super! Maybe this doesn't belong in this comment, but I will write something about the hotel you should stay at anyway. MONIKA HOTEL SIDARI for the sake of your health, nerves and something else, stay away from this hotel. The hotel is really bad and I do not recommend it in any way, the food is terrible....The water in the pool is filled from the sewer, we noticed this by chance on 6/5/2023-disaster!!!

The pool is right next canal!! Top location. Very friendly and genuine staff. The food and drinks at the hotel’s restaurant were very good and so was the breakfast they provided us with in the morning (it’s also until 11 which was very nice). The room was comfortable.

The hotel itself is exceptionally clean, the views are incredible. But the staff. The staff know exactly what theyre doing. They are kind, helpful and funny! They ensured our stay was brilliant after having a nightmare right when we landed with another company. Eva on the front desk put our minds at ease and was a joy to speak with. The cocktail options were poured very strong much to our liking!

The beautiful Sophia who has a heart of gold. Her husband Costa was a very sweet quiet man. Have to mention DOLLY the most loved and most beautiful dog you will come across. This hotel has some magical baby swallows that are so beautiful to watch at the end of the day nose diving around the pool. This hotel is quiet with background music which cheered me up. Best chicken nuggets and chips me and my son Romeo have ever tasted. Sophia and costa have worked here for 22 years. Standard studio was bigger than I was expecting, so much space and the pool and bar area was laid out nicely. The grounds are well maintained and everyone was so welcoming there - especially Caroline!! I would come back just to experience her hospitality alone.

    We have been coming to sidari for 7 years.

    We have been coming to sidari for 7 years. There's something for everyone, whether you want quiet restaurants, traditional greek cuisine/tavernas or modern amercian, mexican, indian, chinese dishes. There is entertainment on the main strip every night from quizes, bingo, karoke to tribute acts, live bands, football and rugby matches televised. All family friendly. There's also plenty to do, the beach is lovely, there are pedaloes, quad bikes, paragliding, snorkelling, boat trips etc. The biggest thing that draws us back are the people. They are so friendly and welcoming and

    Sidari was great for the sheer number and variety of restaurants and entertainment on offer, plus lots of reasonably-priced fift shops and supermarkets. Taxi rank in town, plus a regular bus service to other towns. The beach was lovely. Sidari is a great place for young people who want to sing and dance, and there are so many different venues for these activities. Name the Tune, Tribute bands, drag artistes, DJs, there's some of everything, and a variety of visitors can be catered for, including a lovely little park on the main strip to relax, or let the kids play on the swings. The age range of visitors is 12 to 120. Our favourite restaurant was right at the beach end of the strip, Greek Village, with authentic Greek music and dancing and lovely food, but the food in all the restaurants we dined at was reasonably priced and good.

    At first I was happy with location - many restaurants and beach very close. But once I visited other areas, I would go somewhere else. Sidari was full of drunk british people, all restaurant were just average. Beaches were dirty (full of rubbish) and crowded.

    A small seaside town where there is something for everyone.

    A small seaside town where there is something for everyone. There are many bars and restaurants in the centre and live music every night. There are shops, rentals, just everything you need for a holiday. But a short distance from the centre you will find absolute peace, quieter restaurants, accommodation where you don't even know about the hustle and bustle of the centre.

    Beach town, plethora of restaurants and bars, but still quiet at night. Katerina’s Taverna was superb, exquisitely splendid and traditional. Be sure to make a reservation. Cape Drastic was fantastic, the one way boat trip back to Sidari made the long walk worth it.

    Sidari is a touristic place with a lot of bars and restaurants. If you're looking for a place to go out in the evening it provides lots of options. For beach day and swimming Canal d'Amour is the place to go. For hiking we would recommend taking a hiking route to Cape Drastis or a bike tour there. Since the city has a green bus station you could go easily with bus to surrounding cities like Roda, Acharavi, Kassiopi. But if you want more flexibility a scooter is better. We would say a one week stay is more than enough to explore Sidari.
