With the river in the middle of the city and all the bicycles on the streets it feels like you are in a big European capital. The locals take very good care of their city and it shows. A vibrant town that was great for wandering around. Not many concessions to tourists and all the better for that - you really felt you had the authentic Greek experience. In addition a number of good restaurants and excellent coffee shops. No real stand-out sights, though the old town, the castle and the mill were all worth a visit. It is very comfortable for 2 persons or a family. It comes with pretty much everything (fully equipped kitchen for example) so you won't mind that it is a bit dated or old fashioned.
