Beautiful property in a stunning setting. Our room was very comfortable & spotlessly clean. The staff made us feel so welcome. The breakfast buffet was beyond expectation - a huge choice of homemade hot & cold food including fabulous cakes & pastries. Nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed using the cafe/bar for morning coffee & evening drinks sat on the balcony with stunning views of the mountains. This is truly a place to experience peace & quiet as well as de stress from the demands of everyday life. We can’t recommend it enough.

We loved everything about this. From the warm welcome to the great rooms. Our kids loved playing with all the animals. It was like a peaceful sanctuary in the middle of our trip. We went out at night and could see so many stars! Sat and star gazed for so long. Breakfast was great also! We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very clean with plenty of basic necessities (toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc...). Quiet location, lovely terrace, cozy living room, large parking area. We enjoyed the breakfast items, and there was plenty of coffee, although we opted for the local cafés.

Exceptionally equipped house. You will find anything you could probably need. A lot of options for breakfast. Despite the heat, the excellent insulation made air conditioning unnecessary. Arguably, my best booking.com experience to date.

    A unique travel destination, especially for people who love nature, avoiding crowds and hiking. Above all, the particularly worthy effort made for the Revival of Vamvakou deserves congratulations! People give their best! I would like to see the village again in spring or summer, I think it will be very beautiful!

    Small and quiet mountain village.

    Small and quiet mountain village. Together with the rest of the villages in the area, is trying to be reborn. Events are organized on a regular basis and there are outdoor activities that everyone can enjoy like hiking, strolling, cycling (the mountain trails are organized). There is a restaurant and a coffee shop at the main square where you can easily rub shoulders with the locals and the rest of the visitors. Due to the altitude, snowing is expected during the winter and summer cool enough.

    Vamvakou is a beautiful village with a nice plaza, away from...

    Vamvakou is a beautiful village with a nice plaza, away from the road, to enjoy your food and coffee. It also has a nice playground for kids, with variety of stuff for many ages, even with a huge chess. We visited Vamvakou with our one-year old son and he enjoyed running around, since it was safe from cars. There were steep alleys to get around, but you could also go by car from the main road. At the village there is a nice restaurant with nice and fresh food.
