Many vendors cannot understand “no”and follow us everywhere we we go nagging and nagging and very annoying. One followed us to our hotel another followed us to the restaurant.
The market is not all that as Antigua has a market and Guatamala City has central market with equal products and food. I found out they charge more on Thursdays and Sundays because of the tourists.
The local restaurants quality of food is terrible.
We ate at San Juan and Las Brasas
Not worth going to Chichicastenango.

The hotel is super well located, right in the center and 1 min to the famous market.
The staff is really nice and helpfull
The room was very clean and comfortable, with on top a fire lighted up in your bedroom fire place by the hotel after your dinner.
The restaurant is simple, good and the staff is absolutely nice. I strongly recommend this hotel for a visit in Chichicastenango.
The hotel is a former colonial convent and it truly feels like travelling to the past. Decoration is astonishing, old items are very well preserved, and gardens are beautiful. Beds are very comfy, and breakfast was delicious. Staff is super helpful and always keen to help you, they make you feel like they're taking good care of you.
Breakfast was okay, nothing too special. We liked our room, in front of which we were able to park our car. We stayed here one night since we wanted to go visit the market in Chichicastenango. It's a little bit outside of town, which was great, because it was quiet. I'd stay here again for sure! Very clean, staff was friendly.
Very close to the market. Reception was simple and friendly. I paid 240Q. Easy to catch transportation in the city and away. VERY NOISY at night around the hotel. Comfortable and simple room. It's cold in Chichi at night! Lots of blankets available. 48 degrees in the morning!
Really lovely hotel. The room we had a real old world feel. Everything was just as the name implies, museum pieces. Service was great and staff were extremely helpful. Setting was great, on both sides of a cobbled street. Dinner and breakfast were very good. Great value all round
fantastic location right in the middle of the historic part of Chichacastenango, Guatemala. breakfast was filling and delicious! fireplace in the room was a definite plus. staff had ir filled w wood and when you ring the bell, one of the staff comes running to light the fire.
The owner and staff treated us very kindly and helped to arrange transportation to the airport. We felt safe at the hotel and in the neighborhood. Breakfast was adequate.
The hotel is very pretty and the room also. It had a great view of the mountains. I was glad that they had a restaurant when I was too tired to go out.
