Remisens Hotel Albatros — A Truly Memorable Stay Our recent stay at Remisens Hotel Albatros was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for, thanks to the incredible team who made every detail of our visit special. We loved it so much that we book three extra nights so our seventeen nights stay was amazing. The staff deserve the highest praise — each person we encountered went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. Mato, the talented bartender at the lobby bar, impressed us every evening with his warm conversation, professionalism and perfect cocktails. In the restaurant dining area, Ana and Miloje provided service that was both attentive and sincerely friendly — dining was always a pleasure, especially during the themed dinner nights, which offered delicious variety and a touch of fun to every meal. We also spent time at the snack bar, where Alla, the bartender, was equally amazing — always cheerful and ready with a smile and a refreshing drink just when we needed it most. A special mention must go to Iva, the receptionist, whose kindness and warmth made our entire stay feel welcoming and personal. She was always ready to help, answer questions, or simply brighten our day with her friendly demeanor. We would also like to thank Sanja, our cleaning lady, who kept our room spotless and was always so kind and respectful — her work added to the comfort and ease we felt throughout our stay. And of course, our experience by the pool was elevated by the exceptional work of Zoran, who made sure everything ran smoothly and that guests could fully relax and enjoy. His helpfulness and professionalism did not go unnoticed and made our days by the water even more enjoyable. To all the staff at Remisens Hotel Albatros, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. Thank you for your hard work, genuine care, and dedication to making our stay so memorable.

The hotel was beautifully presented…spotlessly clean. Facilities were great. We stayed bed and breakfast…good choices and tables cleared immediately. Lovely outdoor area to sit too. Great pool area…loads of sunbeds …spa facilities a great treat! Also used the sunbed area near the sea and ate and drank at the restaurant. Rooms were spacious and again spotless.

    Cavtat is a beautiful place, with many attractions great for walking and relaxing. It is very easy to get around, you can take the water taxi to visit Dubrovnik or local bus. Plenty of restaurants to enjoy the local food along the promenade. The sunsets are wonderful in the evening. It is very safe and the people are very friendly.

    The town with 2 personalities, on one side is a sleepy fishing village feel, on the other is the night life, yachts and hustle and bustle. We enjoyed the beach, walking the city, eating gelato and excellent dining.

    We really enjoyed Cavtat, we loved swimming off the rocks...

    We really enjoyed Cavtat, we loved swimming off the rocks and round the headland, visiting the mausoleum and the art gallery and strolling around the town. It was extremely easy to get there just 15 mins from the airport

    Clean and safe area! Very good if you are looking for sun and swimming, without partylife. Good food and a trip to Dubrovnik old town in middle of the week, makes a one week trip enjoyable and resting! Good and safe beaches for families with both smaller, as well as bigger kids. Bathing shoes highly recommended due to stones in the sand beach and, in some places, sea urchins. Recommending restaurant Kabalero in beginning of ”center”. Jumbo pizza 20 EUR(bring doggy bag back to appartment…) Only 10-15 minutes to AirPort, at 25 EUR.

    Cavtat is a place if you want to have beautiful sunset view. Locals are really helpful and friendly. Only thing we missed the local market in the area. We rented a car so going yo grocery shopping was easy for us.

    Cavtat is lovely, a lively town but small enough to feel...

    Cavtat is lovely, a lively town but small enough to feel friendly. The annual carnival was on for our visit ( beginning of July) so there were parades and dancing, the whole town was out and about! Easy access to Dubrovnik and to the airport. There is a water polo training area in the sea which is fun to watch.

    Excellent, well maintained, clean, modern, spacious facilities. Fantastic views from the terrace and infinity pool across the bay to Dubrovnik. Hosts Illiya, Patricia and Matej are very kind, offering lots of help and advice. They hosted a wonderful traditional Croatian meal for guests in the outdoor terrace/BBQ area. Matej was very helpful with airport pick up and drop off. The quiet location, it is a 15 minute downhill walk to Cavtat centre/promanade/beach, we took the bus back up the steep hill though!

    Gorgeous views and pool area. Great room with balcony and a fridge. There’s a small outdoor kitchen too which was very handy for having breakfast before heading out for the day. Everything around the property felt so clean. Bus to Dubrovnik is nearby and the old town of Cavtat is 20 mins walk away. There is a beach closer, about 5 mins walking. There’s also a great hike which starts nearby. Would recommend.

    Excellent Villa had everything you could wish for & more! The views are breathtaking from the villa & local food shop is a 10min walk. The owners Sandy & Denis made our stay very comfortable and memorable. Perfect location not too far from the beautiful picturesque Cavtat & an easy reach to Dubrovnik. Would definitely recommend the Villa & this part of Croatia!

    Mira s apartment was lovely. She left us lots of bits to start our holiday including wine toiletries and plenty of toilet paper. All the sheets and towels were very good quality.It was a great location a good shop 3 minutes away a good local restaurant and great access to a swim(TURN LEFT AT HOTEL CROATIA) much easier than going down and up a lot of steps.

    The location of the hotel is outstanding. The beach in the bay with a view of the Cavtat waterfront or the beach on the landscaped rocks with a view of the open sea, allows you not to feel the large number of guests that the hotel receives. Access to the beach through the well-kept gardens of the hotel gives a special atmosphere and completes the vacation.
