It was.a unique experience, nice and tranquil, hearing the waves at night was relaxing, food was amazing, they also done a bbq that was very tasty, Ari, Vina and Nana was great hosts and we can't wait to come back. Highly recommended 👌

The resort is on the remote part of the island of Bintan. It’s been beautifully designed with traditional Indonesian straw roof. The pristine small beach is only 50 meters away, the staff are wonderful people with real empathy and and professionalism. The food is also great. If you’re either living in nearby Singapore of visiting for business you really must spent some time in this resort to destress. They also have a highly recommended spa by the river. What’s not to like?

From the moment we booked, everything exceeded our expectations. Even before arriving, we received a detailed WhatsApp guide covering everything from A to Z. Travelling with three kids, this gave us peace of mind, helped us pack lighter, and we appreciated the transparency on what was chargeable and what was complimentary. There were also plenty of free activities to enjoy. We were warmly welcomed with refreshing drinks and local cakes, and from then on, every member of the team made us feel at home. Baba and Anna went above and beyond with every request, while Hanom and Dini were absolute gems. Everyone was genuinely friendly, we got to know the staff, they got to know us, and we even met some of their families. During the World Cup, Baba even arranged for my husband to watch the matches at no extra charge and watched together with him. By the end of our 4-night stay, they felt more like friends than staff. The atmosphere was exactly what we needed, calm, serene and a perfect escape from hectic Singapore life. Calm seas, hammocks everywhere, beautiful sunsets just steps from the café, cool sea breeze, and thousands of stars at night. Breakfast was delicious with different menus every morning, including special options for the kids. Everything was clean, well above our expectations. Although it's about an hour from the ferry terminal and away from shops, complimentary bicycles made it easy to explore nearby local eateries. Even my in-laws, who joined us for the last two nights, enjoyed every moment. We truly didn't want to leave and are so grateful for such a memorable stay. Highly recommended if you're looking for a unique, relaxing getaway. We will definitely be back! ❤️

The receptionist named Intan was the most lovely person. She was so helpful and was great to have her greet me. The area where the villa is located is far from the port however it is peaceful and quiet. It was a really good place to relax. I also loved the 3 cats who live on the property. Loved greeting them at the door each morning 🥹

Always loved the Bintan resorts, but this, for the money was unbeatable. Staff, utterly delightful. Food on point, lovely BBQ on Saturday night. Great little beach, plenty to do for the little ones, all good.

Perfect resort to relax and enjoy the life! What makes this resort so unique is the people of this place. They are highly motivated and especially friendly and giving high standard service. It’s absolutely beautiful and the aesthetics were on point. We stayed for 4D3N and hardly had enough time to explore what Sadi could offer. We slept well to the waves, stargaze. and woke up trying to catch the sunrise. We went cockles picking, and wanted to try kayaking next! We also love spacing out at the cafe and can I say that they have the best banana fritters, we had them 3 days in a row. The kelong next door serves the best crabs at a good price too, so we had lovely variations to our meals. Special thanks to Lun who is always so smiley, and for all the staff for taking such good care of us.

Kawaland is great value for money if you're on a budget but still want good hospitality. Its beautiful where it counts, the grounds are well kept and the pool is cleaned daily. The drinks are well made - particularly the cocktails and mocktails. We stayed in the deluxe glamping tier - there's no TV which was little matter since we were there for family togetherness and we have ipads anyway and while the interior is nothing to write home about the exterior with the giant reflective half triangle floor to ceiling window is nice for selfie or photography. The BBQ dinner was especially well done and even though they said they would prepare and we would have to bbq it ourselves, they eventually had a chef prepare it for us. They also organised a good vendor for our mangrove tour of the fireflies and the snorkeling. We love the free karaoke night!
