More of a family culture, not as crowded as Gili T. Excellent value for money and the service culture of the residents is amazing. Easy to hire bicycles and scooters (electric) - essential. So many little gems to be found. A 2nd hand book shop, lovely places to eat, Gili Coffee Roasters became a favourite. Gili T was way too busy and commercialized, Gili Meno too quiet and Gili Air just right. A bit worried that they do not have a good recycling or rubbish disposal system, locals only look after their patch and nobody cares about the rest- this policy will eventually stop so many travellers coming.Food was great, locals friendly and helpful.Biking around Gili T is easy if you are careful, but soft sand means it's too hard on the other two.Guest review byAnonymousNew Zealand - 10.0

Brilliant island getaway. Will stay longer next time. Relaxing, friendly service, a lot to do for such a small place. Rented a scooter for the few days which made getting around the island easy. Beautiful ocean!!! Easy markets/stores to shop at and numerous dining choices here - from local Warungs (comfortably affordable) to high-end restaurants - all great choices. People here are very welcoming - as throughout any location with high travel industry. The friendliness here is palpable for anyone who is also welcoming to kind communication. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to Sunset beach, which has many nice restaurants and bars, but very quiet. The hotel and my room was very clean and I also really enjoyed the pool in front, which was in front of my room and surrounded by a lot of greenery. The room had the air conditioning and an outdoor bathroom, as well as a small terrace in front of the swimming pool.
