Basic rooms, but comfortable. Perfect location for visiting the Tumpak Sewu waterfall. The site offers a good parking, and a decent restaurant. From the reviews I read, I expected "excellent food, with super attentive service" - in reality, food is ok but nothing special, and also service is quite basic - I had to go and order food to the counter half of the times.

This has to be one of our favorite stays in East Java!! The hosts, Mahmoud and his wife Arista, went above and beyond and were so welcoming. The cottages offer a great view of Mt. Semeru in the morning, and they have everything you need. The AC worked well, and the shower was so hot, which was nice after exploring. The hosts offered to give us a ride to the waterfalls and told us about other waterfalls to visit in the area, too! Not to mention a tasty breakfast in the morning! A perfect place to stay and explore!
