Barefoot Glamping is a brand-new place run by a wonderful Dutch host and a kind local team, with service that goes truly above and beyond. The tents are much more comfortable than expected for glamping, the pool is excellent, and the beach right in front is swimmable – a rare gem in Bali. The restaurant is simple but absolutely delicious, one of the best we tried on the island. We stopped here for one night on our way from Amed to Pemuteran so the drive wouldn’t be too long with our 1.5-year-old daughter, and for us that was just the right amount of time. Peaceful, connected to nature, and family-friendly – we loved our stay.

The place was very peaceful, not busy it’s really good for relaxing. Very well kept. The staff are very accommodating and friendly and very professional. And the waiter who serve us the guy with the eye glasses in the restaurant gave us amazing service with a warm inviting smile every time. We will be sure going back there!

Recently we had the pleasure to stay at this wonderful retreat. It´s hard to point out, what we enjoyed the most: The lush and well-kept gardens, the cozy and yet spacious villa with the extraordinary view to the sea, or the friendliness of the staff. This is truly a place to leave everything else behind. It is located in a slightly remote, quiet area of the island , you will find a little supermarket, or an atm within walking distance though. We liked the food at the hotel in well sized portions. You will find Balinese and European specialties on the (English and Czech) menu. Despite the name of the resort, we were not able to relax too much, due to the fact, that we took diving lessons. We were completely new to scuba diving and decided from home already, to take PADI certified OWD course in this dive center. The place is run by Luba and his super friendly team these days. He will gladly teach you in English or Czech. In a short first conversation Luba left a very good impression, listening carefully to our goals, and fears as first-timers. Seeing the dive center, how well organized, neatly stored and cleaned the equipment was, took the very last concerns off our shoulders. The next day we were off to the hotel pool. Luba displayed great patience and skill in his teaching. Even when we had trouble with specific exercises, he immediately conceived of a teaching strategy to overcome the problem. Throughout the entire course he insisted on what he feels is really important in practice. and repeated exercises in the pool and the open sea. This procedure gave us great confidence and we felt very safe and well taken care of throughout all of our dives. Great advantage of the place is a beautiful reef and an interesting wreck right in front of the hotel, that even we as beginners were able to explore. All in all a wonderful experience, that two new, very happy divers can highly recommend.

beautiful view of the volcano right from your bedroom. nice fresh cut grass to walk on barefoot. amazing pool. very nice minimalist rooms. the host, Komang, and his wife were incredible and made our first trip to Kintamani one we’ll always remember. from the second we arrived Komang was kind, helpful, and essentially helped plan our entire visit.

Kadek and Putu were amazing hosts. The cabin sums up all the care that the owners put in it and it makes you feel like being home. We loved it, the kids too. We can only recommend this place and experience.
