Set amid 30 acres of landscaped gardens, The Westlodge Hotel is located just on the edge of Bantry town, overlooking Bantry Bay, in West Cork. Lovely Hotel and leisure centre with great facilities set in beautiful west cork. Fabulous room with a large Jacuzzi bath. Staff were friendly and helpful
Featuring over 100 designer rooms, some with sea views and balconies, and others overlooking mature woods these luxury accommodations are very conveniently located by the famous bay of the region. The Maritime Hotel sits at the edge of the harbor in Bantry. It offers a short walk to really good restaurants and pubs as well as having similar options within the hotel itself. The staff are welcoming and deserve extra credit and accolades for providing so much good information about Bantry as well as insights and suggestions on other parts of your itinerary. The rooms are great - warm, accommodating, with very nice bathrooms and showers. Pretty much all you could want and more - easily meeting and exceeding American expectations. The bar is also a great place for a pint or dram.
The 4-star Sea View Hotel is located overlooks Bantry Bay in Ballylickey, West Cork. It has an award-winning restaurant serving home-cooked food, rooms with power showers and free parking. Service and staff are exceptional at this property. Breakfast was lovely and varied and everyone seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had a great time and experienced everything we wanted to. Highly recommended!
Shandrum Lodge is set in a rural location, 4.3 mi from Bantry on the Wild Atlantic Way. The property offers adult-only accommodations with views of the Cork and Kerry Mountains. The hosts couldn't have been more delightful, gracious, and helpful. We had notified them at the time of booking that we are vegan and when we arrived they served us homemade hummus and seeded crackers. Breakfast included a beautiful non-dairy yoghurt/poached fruit dish served in beautiful glass bowls followed by sweet potato and courgette fritters with stewed tomatoes. I felt as if I had a personal chef and I could feel the love that Maeve had prepared the meal with. Hygiene standards were exceptional, and the house was beautiful, decorated with appealing art and fresh decor. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The scenery around the house is outstanding, and there are sitting places outside to enjoy it. There are fresh herbs and veggies growing (some of which are in the breakfasts). Although the house is in a rural setting, it was a short and easy drive to get to Bantry. Bantry itself is a lovely town and there is a vegan-friendly restaurant and store called Organico there so we were set for lunch also! I would love to have stayed longer and would relish the opportunity to return to such a haven.
Located on the Wild Atlantic Way and seafront, the adult-only Seafort Luxury Hideaway offers guests panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and seascape. We liked everything about Seafort Luxury and it certainly stands up to its name! The welcome we received from Sean and Siobhan was terrific and they are great hosts who do anything they can to help make your stay perfect! The suite was well heated and so luxurious, fab bed, beautiful decor and great views. Fluffy towels, lots of mirrors and very private too. Just a short walk away is a great restaurant called Donemark West, which served the best dinner and wine.. it was great we could leave the car at Seafort and just walk over and back. Sean and Siobhan had reserved it for us prior to our arrival, at our request. This is a very popular restaurant so making a reservation is definitely recommended. The hot breakfast at Seafort is cooked by Sean and Siobhan , it was scrumptious with lots of choices and even lots to eat before it's served too: croissants / breads/ fruit/ meats/ cheeses even 'breakfast in a glass' which was delicious. The view, looking out to sea as we ate our breakfast was so pretty. We will definitely return!
Located in the coastal town of Bantry, Aran Lodge offers free WiFi access and free parking. Just 2.5 mi from Bantry Bay Golf Club, Glengarriff Nature Reserve is also a short 13-minute journey by car. The location is beautiful. The service was friendly and warm.

Located 12 miles from Healy Pass in Glengarriff, Ardnagashel Estate Holiday Homes offers accommodations with a kitchen. This vacation home has a garden. It was spacious and modern set in beautiful woodlands.
Ballylickey Bungalow is located 1 mile from the village of Ballylickey, and features views over the Bantry Bay.
Offering a sun terrace and views of the garden, Ballycommane House & Garden is located in Durrus in the County Cork Region, 29 mi from Killarney. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! If you don't stay here, you'll be missing out. The grounds are incredible and all done by the owners! Loved the owners, the food was fantastic, I just wish we had more time there.
Bantry is a lovely town right on the water with beautiful scenery in the area. There is lots to see and do for young and old alike. There is a Tourist Office in the square that has lots of information about what to do and places to go.
Wonderful town, charmingly “back-in-time” atmosphere. Friendliest people I’ve ever met. Music in virtually all the pubs. Fine historical interest and beautiful natural surroundings. The restaurant at the Fish Market was superb. Travel around the Beara Peninsula was beautiful and full of interest. The Masters of Tradition Festival (Irish Traditional Music) was well worth the long travel to get there!
Lovely locations few good restaurants plenty of pubs but you need to go in the right ones. We went on a bank holiday weekend, these differ slightly from the UK it appears every one goes out Sun night do book s table early if you want the one in s good restaurant
Playing golf in the super 18 hole panoramic golf club. A walk in the beautiful woods in glengarriff. A trip by boat to garnish island which is known world wide.....and the best of all, food in the newly opened snug.
The drive from Dingle to Bantry on a cold day was desolate, dreary, and arduous. I would have skipped the Beara Peninsula completely and gone straight to Kinsale. We loved Dingle peninsula and would have stayed linger had we known.
The location and the house are fabulous and breakfast was also very good. However the owner showed no flexibility with the check in policy , I can understand and respect the policy which I did after changing all my plans for the day but after arrival I was questioned on my choice of restaurant for dinner, we were reminded twice to be careful with the new carpet and we were also told not to slam the doors at 6 pm. I felt not welcome and could not wait to leave. I travel very often and never had a similar experience before. Maybe we just started on the wrong foot but I did not enjoy my stay.

The location was not as expected. Water view, but far off. When you enter the property the lot is congested and junky. I was traveling in a family of 7. The family room was comfortable, but the value verses other hotels in Ireland was not good. I have traveled a lot in Ireland and wanted to do some nontraditional sight seeing ,but this was in the middle of nowhere for premium pricing.

Very tasteful, modern and cozy accomodation, in pristine condition with no shortcuts. Bathroom top, bed, bedlinen and bedsize, First Class. We loved the suite! Siobhan and Sean as hosts could not have been more helpful, gave us great tips for places to see and good restaurants. House and grounds of Seafort are absolutely TOP! We had a great time in Bantry.

A well appointed hotel right at the waterfront, our room had a Juliet balcony which was just perfect place to watch the sun go down. The staff were all very bright and cheerful. The leisure centre was clean and well cared for , did need to purchase a swimming cap to use the pool though (€2.50) so remember some change if you want a swim.
