Hotel old and not fancy. But clean and comfortable for one night stay
This beautiful and historic castle is set within 1,000 acres of woodland. On the banks of the River Moy, it features a restaurant made from the remains of a 17th-century Spanish galleon.

Very run down safety concerns with sockets and exposed wires. Protestors at the gate with security. Nothing was mentioned to us about why protesters there. Could check in unril 3.30pm even tho hotel was virtually empty. Only seen 2 people at breakfast time. Overall very poor and not good value for money

Good clean hotel in countryside. Located on a road leading to main highways. Good restaurant and excellent service. Staff handled our very active toddler really well and bartender even offered to help carry some drinks from bar to room when I had my hands full.

A first class hotel. Lovely accommodation, great staff.
Ballina is a friendly and very interesting town. There are many places of interest with interest boards and murals explaining about people and places. The Jackie Clarke Collection is well worth a visit, and it is free. You can read about many people and events in the town and surrounding area then go visit them. It is clear the War of Independence and the Civil War had huge effects upon the town and surrounding area.

Plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants in this picturesque town on the river Moy. We can see why Jack Charlton loved the place. We enjoyed watching the anglers waste deep in the river fishing for salmon. We had dinner in the hotel on both evenings and the food was great.

A lovely town, with lots to see and do in the area, nice places to eat, close to many other nice places to visit, so a good base for the area. Get out and enjoy the music and arts, and its ambition to be the most climate friendly town.
